It took more than two months of negotiations, but ultimately Jacobs was comfortable with the terms of an agreement to fight Golovkin in an HBO Pay-Per-View main event March 18 at Madison Square Garden.

..... wow, doesn't Jacobs explanation sound a lot more realistic than all that childish "ducking doe" dribble?

but it doesn't matter, honestly..... because we know that you fans who got it wrong will reflect, and will not make that same mistake again next time..... right?

..... yea right, when hell freezes over LMAO

..... it appears that all of the " duckin doe " brigade..... were just behaving like childish clowns..... AGAIN!!

sorry, but I think that is a biased viewpoint

FACT: the fight got made, so why are you so concerned with how much Jacobs got paid?

..... the following statement is just as correct - if not more so - than yours.....

"If the mandatory is supposed to get 25% - and 25% is obviously not enough - then it bothers me even more that Team Golovkin didn't just make Jacobs a fair offer earlier during the negotiation to avoid wasting so much time"

I'm annoyed by the fact that I could be watching Golovkin fight in a couple of days and thx to this overprice diva I have to wait until March, and for what's? To see Jacobs land hard on his back? This dude hasnt realize he is outclassed in every category and Golovkin is going to school him so bad he will never overprice himselfl.

FACT: 25% was never going to get it done, you dumb ****...... I knew it, Jacobs knew it, and Team Bullshht were also well-aware of that obvious fact.

FACT: K2 could have made Jacobs a reasonable offer a LOT sooner, but oh no they attempted to use the threat of a purse-bid as leverage and subsequently dragged the negotiation out as long as was humanly possible.....

..... resulting in, Jacobs getting exactly what he wanted..... so, why didn't they make that reasonable offer months ago?

Playing hardball cost Golovkin a fight date LMAO

I will ask that question again..... Jacobs got exactly what he wanted..... so, why didn't they make him that reasonable offer months ago?

Did I say he was bad at cutting the ring off? Is it not easier to cut the ring off in a smaller ring? Does ggg not use the smallest rings possible?

                    Q.

Team Golovkin (eventually) made Jacobs a satisfactory offer.

IF, Team Golovkin had made Jacobs that EXACT SAME OFFER three months ago..... would that have saved Golovkin a fight date?

If so, how the fk could a sane man blame Jacobs ? LMAOOOOO

That's exactly what you insinuated with your comment.

                      Of course it is

And not that I'm aware of? The only small one I remember is the one in Monaco maybe? Don't remember any other small rings that stand out
