No one credible will say that, Golovkin is still prime as a fighter for one, and two he has to look notably old before the fight takes place for that to be a valid excuse. What happens after the fact doesn't.

There's already been threads here with quite a number of people saying that very thing. I'm not one of them, but there's many of them here. I laughed at them but the fight still isn't scheduled, Golovkin is turning 35, and there's a chance they may end up being right in the end.

If Jacobs by some miracle makes everything look easy or it goes 12, and assuming Jacobs performs far better than Brook and we see a bruised up Golovkin, that toll in itself will change the odds for GGG vs Alvarez exponentially. just odds talk, turning it all around

It may not be a valid one, however, that doesn't mean people wouldn't use it. You can bet a lot of Golovkin fanboys most certainly would, no matter how he looked in the fight.

Its about time you stopped hating on Cashnelo....but you know it doesn't surprise me you and the thousands of critics knew all along Canelo was not afraid and just got off on him while you had the chance to take shots ; now look at you about to hop on the bandwagon. Yes Marquez! Keep baiting in Canelo with that GGG talk to pressure him. As for the fight, I dont think Canelo will lose any respect if he loses to GGG as the guy is a monster and will retire as an ATG if he becomes undisputed in 2 divisions without a loss.

marquez needs to cut it. Alvared isn't getting in there will lil G period. he;ll fight anybody under and over 160,but won't fight at that weight. marquez let it go.
