No he did not. You are a fool if you believe that Marquez won by a long shot. Pacman won the first 3.

        Marquez proves superiority over Manny

Both great boxers, with Marquez winning the only way he could get justice, by scoring one of the greatest knockouts ever at top level. Conclusive superiority, at last!

Like a kid that finally won and has taken his ball and gone home. Except now calling the playground again reliving the win and not giving a rematch.

          LOL OK JMM.

The first two are up in the air but Marquez definitely won the third fight. He was robbed in that one.

I have no problem if they never fight again but I'd definitely buy a 5th fight if it happened.

Now if you're asking me for my opinion as a fan, I lost respect for him long ago for being a sore loser. I would never accuse anyone of roiding but his connection to Memo and his out-of-nowhere power is far from a coincidence. In his eyes, he's only lost to Mayweather and that's comical. I liked Morales, Barrera then Marquez in that order but there's not one credible boxing writer or historian that don't rank him among one of the best Mexican fighters, it's not my opinion. And you're slightly off on him ducking Hamed and Morales. Marquez fought in the shadows of Morales and Barrera virtually his whole career until they began to decline. He didn't start getting good fights until after the decline of the other two. I wouldn't say he's overrated AF, but I do happen to think Morales and Barrera were better.

I remember when he ducked both Hamed and Morales at 126. On top of being a sore loser, he was notorious for pricing himself out against big names, only to cry and say everyone was ducking him.

Speaking of Derrick Gainer, if you actually followed the sport during that time, you would know he was very inconsistent as a fighter. So much so, you couldn't really consider him a great fighter. Yes looked nice in the Kelly rematch but looked terrible in other bouts (specifically the Polo fight in which he was booed heavily for running and an overall ****ty performance).

With that said, Marquez has about three good wins, Casamayor, Pacquiao IV and Barrera (although he was past it IMO).

To sit up and claim Salido and Rocky Juarez are good wins is just ridiculous....

you owe a pacquiao a fifth fight.

if you are gonna continue to fight again, you owe pacquiao that.

any fame and fortune marquez has now is due to his pacquiao fights.

                    he has nothing without pacquiao.

he'd be driving mexicans with uber while drinking piss if it wasnt for pacquiao giving him chance after chance...

I think many of us said the same things to ourselves when it happened. Viva Marquez!!!
