Oquendo comes out of no where and gets a title shot?

Also Briggs is a clown and a s circus act shouldn't be getting any shots on antics alone.

On the flip side Oquendo is one boxer that has been stolen a lot of top fights on the cards

Oquendo hasnt fought for about 2 years...Ustinov has also not fought for over a year.why dont they fight each other for the winner to meet Briggs for the title.

By way of a court win Oquendo is still owed a title shot. He had been hurt for a long time but is back training. I assume it will be Ustinov vs Oquendo.

Briggs is 45 and hasn't beaten an opponent with a pulse in a decade. Oquendo is in his 40s, got an undeserved title shot, lost, got the courts to give him another one, and hasn't fought in 2 1/2 years. Perfect heavyweight "title" opponents for this era

oquendo fought chagaev for the title on short notice in 2014. oquendo took the fight on short notice because chagaev agreed to a rematch clause.

when oquendo sought to enforce the rematch clause, chagaev refused to honor it. oquendo took his promoter to court and won. a settlement was reached with the WBA that oquendo would receive a title shot when he recovered from injury.

so it's almost 2017 and oquendo is still owed that title shot.
