Brook had nothing for GGG. Golovkin had no respect for his power. This fight will be more like the Lemieux fight. We'll see GGG more of a boxer

Gonna be GGG vs. Lemieux v. 2!
Jacobs doesn't underestimate GGG, he's just looking how this fight could play out from different perspectives. I mean Jacobs also said this:

“So yeah, it’s a bit of an edge. But at the same time, this is boxing. He could be a totally different fighter the next fight out and fight a totally different style. So we just have to be equipped and ready for anything – any and everything"

I agree. I think we'll see the type of boxing strategy he'll employ vs canelo

The media will want to hype this fight, and GGG is not that guy, so you'll see a lot of Jacobs and Sanchez quotes, blah, blah, blah, etc. Jacobs is a humble man, and he's not trying to be disrespectful, but that doesn't sell fights. Black hats, black cats, etc., they want to transform Jacobs from "Cancer Survivor," to "Mike Tyson," but it won't work!

GGG loves taking hits from people that he knows can't knock him out... He will expose Jacobs and KO the hell outta him and then all we will here is Jacobs wasn't a legit contender anyway. Will he ever get the credit he deserves??

Brook is a far better and more skilled fighter than Jacobs.

Jacobs has nothing to offer in this fight but swinging power shots and hoping one lands before his chin gets touched.

Well, Jacobs mentioned that it wasn't only the Brook fight that he saw defensive deficiencies from GGG. He even acknowledges that they have to be ready for anything because he may come out different than any of his fights. I think Jacobs and his team has a really good mentality going into this (as good as a large underdog can have)... And where are you getting the 40-50% effort from? Did they say that?

If he stays at 160 and beats Jacobs and Canelo some of the haters will give some grudging respect, but not much.

Only way he could get respect would be to go to 168 after and own that division too. He's getting on a bit, so might have to give up his dream of unification (thank you BJS) to be able to do that.

But 168 isn't a great division either right now. No Ward, Froch, Kesslers around. Not sure DeGale and Jack quite cut it.

Got to go up in weight to prove your great right ? Just like Monzon did.

Exactly. Imagine what would happen to Jacobs if he fought Brook and Kell would be 6ft tall and a natural 160.
