Well considering Dawson was a middleweight for half of his career all signs say that he could make 168 but just either did it incorrectly or wasn't good enough.

Seeing as he's lost badly and to Tommy Karpency of all people at 175 since, it should tell you that he's passed it rather than that one time he made 168 ruined everything for him.

GGG losing 8 lbs in a month is no biggie for any high level boxer, best believe that. Some people lose that on the final day.

Yup and most people dont realize that GGG turned pro very late, at age 25. When GGG was 18-19 years old he was fighting at 140 in the amateurs, at the same age Canelo was already fighting at 147 and Ward won a gold Medal at Light Heavy (178lb).

SMH, some GGG fans are actually a detriment to his image.

The Ward fight didn't happen for a variety of business related reasons. Neither fighter is afraid of the other and no one ducked. If Abel had kept his mouth shut there would be no need to explain, excuse or clarify these silly accusations.

However for the record, Ward has the established history of facing high quality opponents...... I'd believe his version of the incident based on that fact.

Haven't heard this one before. Mind posting a link?

Easy to ignore things that don't fit your agenda though. With that said, I don't think either fighter ducked the other. They don't fight in the same division. With that said, Golovkin and his team have absolutely shown no interest in fighting Ward in recent history.

After he moved up last year he said he wasn't coming back down to 168 so of course they have no interest in fighting Ward at lhw.

Seems like more people need to find out the truth since Ward is still lying to the public about it.

Never saw this before. Interesting. Although I never believed Ward's version of events to be honest. I think he knew there were a lot of Americans out there looking for any chance to knock Golovkin, who wouldn't think too much about the truth of the claim being made.
