Winky Wright vs. Jermain Taylor Tickets

I have been asked by J.D. to make this post. for those of you who do not know who he is, he was a long time poster on the site. J.D. also happens to be a ring announcer. some of you may have seen him on the showbox event with the peterson brothers a few weeks ago. anywho, J.D. will be announcing the early fights on the june 17 jermain taylor vs. winky wright fight @ the fed-ex forum in memphis tennessee. once again he is making an offer for the members of the boxingscene community. J.D. is offering ringside tickets for less $500.00. Thats $700.00 less than the actual cost of the tickets. the last time this was offered i wentto the fight and had a blast. i met tracy lee, who posts on this site, and several of the common names in the boxing business incuding winky wright, bill clancy, michael buffer, lamon brester, james toney, ect...

so if you think you might be able to make it to the fight and are interested in the tickets you can post here or you can pm me. J.D.has recently moved to florida recently and hasn't gotten his internet hooked up yet.

My apologies for not using J.D.'s boxing scene nic, Soundtraveler. last time the tickets were half price. Soundtraveler was able to get the same seats last time but felt that the cheaper seats that were about 30 feet further back were actually better for watching the fight. the seats were amazing. these seats however are going to be closer and to be for sure, in the cameras view! at the last fight there were several boxing champions walking around right where these seats are. mike tyson was about 10 feet away from these seats. and where the fighter enter the ring is right there as well.

here is the link from the last fight in memphis.

I worked all night and stayed up til 11 AM to log on to Ticketmaster's Savvis Center site, ready to drop a grand on 2 ringside seats to the Cory Spinks fight. Apparently only privileged folks with passwords have access to the good seats. I didn't even get an e-mailed code to buy seats today even though I dropped 2 grand on fight tickets last year, including the only Savvis Center card. So I guess I'm not going to go to that July 8 event because I wanted the best ringside seats I could find. St. Louis, Don King, Cory Spinks et al. can have a show without me.

So I think I might go to the Memphis fight, Freecloud.

              Can you ask JD

              1) Exact amount of the tickets (I'd want 2) and the address to send a cashiers check...

              2) How I would acquire the tickets before driving down

              3) Does he know if there is a hotel in the immediate vicinity of the venue?

Post it here for others interested to view or send me a pm...thanks

Yes it is true, I am offering seats that would go for $1,000.00 to the loyal fans of boxingscene.com for just $400.00 but you have to contact me soon. I do have a few "absolute high profile celeb seats" available, but if you want to rub elbows with the stars it's gonna cost ya' nothing I can do about that my friends! If you want a seat right where the fighters walk out I have a couple of those left, they are great seats as well, normally a grand, I will get them for you for just $400.00 each !! Hey, it pays to know somebody in the fight game! Yes there are hotels close by, but the less expensive rooms are toward the airport. I am in touch with Dr. Freecloud, every few days, so contact him and he will give me a call. Yes you can have the tix in hand before you come to memphis, I am sitting at the promoters house as I right this, and he says o.k. to cashiers checks, and of course if you are really serious, I will personaly make sure you get the tix. Ask Dr. Freecloud, or Rick himself, this is the real deal, not some phony scam crap, I am who I say I am...
