Wrong again. K2 was in deep negotiations with Hearn/ Eubank right til the end until Eubank chickened out. Degale was in negotiations with a Badou unification fight at this time. The Degale/ Jack fight should have happened a lot sooner, but negotiations took a long time. Brook, the other marquee fighter in Hearn's stable did not have an upcoming fight and was offered what was essentially Eubanks contract.
Not too mention, GGG expected to fight 3 times in 2016, so K2 had to meet their HBO mandated dates.

So which MW, or SMW was available for him to fight then? The Brook fight was done in 1-2 days to secure the HBO date. Brook is a big name in the UK, proved by the success of the PPV

So who else was available that GGG should have fought then?

I doubt his dad sees it that way though.
This is true. I think the Eubanks have a distorted image of self importance plain and simple. Eubanks Sr living vicariously through Jr and should loosen the apron strings.

            nah, that is bullshht

they could have easily fought Degale, Jack wasn't signed or even close..... so that is bullshht

you pick the best opponent, and then you pick the best date..... NOT the other way around

they could have easily picked a better opponent

you don't see me rolling out excuses why Canelo fought Khan/Smith

and you can't blame Team Golovkin either, sounds like that was a good deal all around
Either way it goes they had their chance and too be honest they aren't at that level anyways. They were very fortunate to have the opportunity and it got away. They should build themselves up now. They are fighting club level fighters. You don't go from losing with Billy Joe Saunders and bouncing back with club fighter KOs to getting in there with Triple G. Its a recipe for disaster!

yea, I don't think Eubank is a great fight for Golovkin at all

Fans don't normally want to hear the things this guy is saying. They want to hear things like, "I'll kick this Kazakhstan guy's ass; I'll do it in 3 rounds; I'll make him irrelevant; I'll make him retire, etc." If all fans hear is how you're getting bad deal, then they're not going to take you seriously. They want fighters, not whiners.

We've all seen what Walters did. It was clear he came into the fight just to cash in.
