From what I've seen, the Eubanks dropped the ball during negotiations but I'm not certain they were that keen for the fight in the first place. The Eubanks seem to bring up GGG when they're promoting Jr's latest fight and GGG has already signed to fight someone else. The Eubanks have been using that same narrative for the last couple of fights, "once Jr wins this, GGG is next" but then they're quiet after the fight. Last time, they actually went through negotiations and I thought they genuinely wanted to make the GGG fight, it didn't happen, Eubank has been quiet since.....until Jr has a new fight to promote and it's back to the GGG talk. Is this all a way for team Eubank to promote his current fight by attaching his name to GGG every time he has a fight to sell?
