I always felt the same. That said, I think there's an A-side mentality with the Eubanks that's got to go. Being big fish in a small pond means little to a team that's got their guy doing HBO ppvs. Jr needs to look at this as an opportunity for greater things, rather than a payday. I doubt his dad sees it that way though.

..... but, Hearn was not representing the A-side, and he gave Team Eubank a (probably reasonable) ultimatum.....

..... the reason why I say " probably reasonable " is because they had been negotiating for quite some time, the date was approaching fast, and because Team Eubank did not deny the facts when it was publicly announced that Brook accepted the EXACT SAME DEAL that they were offered

they could have done better, the date is no excuse..... they could have found a better opponent/date, like they just finished doing when the initial Jacobs negotiation first broke down
