Ummm... I can't really get behind Shumenov and Dorticos on this one. The reason why is because that belt should belong to Gassiev. If they were petitioning to have to fight Gassiev for the belt, I could understand. However, this just looks like they are trying to push their opportunity to get a belt sooner, while not having to fight Lebedev (who I think should not have the title). Eh... Two wrongs don't make a right. Either give it to Gassiev or strip it and make the Shumenov-Dorticos winner fight Gassiev. Either way, Gassiev should be the guy.

Doesn't matterx Iron Man aka Gassiev should be the WBA/IBF champ, he landed the harder and more telling blows to Lebedev!
I saw him earn it over 12 rounds in a very good fight, hope there's a rematch!

Gassiev would bury Shumenov and Dorticos could be a close one since he's tough as Kevlar and has a big punch just like Gassiev!

All fighters should fight each other, nice mix and match match ups at cruiserweight!

Lebedev pays the WBA to let him keep his title even he loses, Shumenov offers to pay the WBA even more to give the title to him instead. I hope Canelo isn't planning a jump to 180lbs to fight a weight drained Arreola on PPV or we could have an auction on our hands.

One of these days WBA is going to end up giving every boxer a belt to avoid more problems, and if a boxer loses his belt, just make up another for him.

Am I missing something here ? Lebedev only put one of his title belts up for this fight. There's no rule that states that a unified champ has to risk all of his belts each time he fights. Everyone should just get over it and get in line for a shot at Lebedev's remaining championship strap.
