I know, they are trying too make out as if dlh was Superman.
Dlh never was, not even in prime was he suoerman. The dlh fight for Floyd was somewhat of a risk, a calculated one at best. But however you dress it up, dkh was past peak.

Murray lost almost every round against Groves.

        • Oscar Dela Hoya was past his prime at the time he fought Floyd Mayweather but still gave Floyd the fright of his life, I view GGG win over Brook in the same sort of light but one is better than the other.

So hear me out, I'll keep it short -

Floyd beats ODLH = PPV attraction
GGG beats Brook = PPV attraction

          Floyd beats past prime guy
          GGG beats in prime guy

Floyd fights a guy coming off of a KO loss and moving down from 160lbs
GGG fights a guy coming off a win and moving up to 160lbs

Floyd fights ODLH in Floyd's home country
GGG fights Brook in Brooks home country

Both fights similar but GGG has many small little details which fans of Floyd very conviently ignore which I have so carefully stated for those people with their blinkers on to read and notice so for me and any other fan of the sport this is clearly more impressive because Brook is still in the prime and was still in that sleight of being unbeaten didn't know how to lose yet GGG goes over to a big hostile British crowd and dominates Brook from the get-go and makes him quit, outstanding!

            • The reality is he never will, or his management won't let him. DLH was not only bigger and taller than Floyd, ranked #3 by The Ring and was WBC 154 champ, that was also Floyd's 5th weight class and a weight class he's never been in. There's also other variables like Floyd was powerful from 130-140, but his power coupled with his injured right hand obviously made his power less effective at 147, let alone at 154.

DLH was past his prime? So let's even things out, let's put GGG at 175 vs a past prime fighter, that sounds fair. From 160 to 175 is 15lbs, Hopkins did it at 40, it's doable. From 130 to 154 is 24lbs. So if GGG bulks up and is 178 on fight night at LHW vs fighters who are 185-189, that would put him on par with Floyd being 150 on fight night vs fighters who were 158-160lbs, that would give them both a disadvantage of 8-10 pounds give or take.

Now let's find an opponent suitable in age, size, ranking, being a titleholder and probably being close to retirement leading oddsmakers to maybe give GGG the slight edge: Adonis Stevenson, 175 WBC champ, #3 ranked by the RING, bigger/taller than GGG, but also older than GGG at 40 years old, and close to retirement, and it's very possible that GGG would be favored aganst him due to him being old, inactive and having been KO'ed viciously before by Boone. Only thing with Stevenson is that unlike DLH, he's suffered a KO.

So GGG would have to beat Adonis Stevenson at 175 to match Floyd's win over DLH. Of course, Ward or Kovalev would be even better. DeGale is also very doable and would be better than Stevenson.

DLH started at 135 so even if that was true, that proves nothing. and lol at lemi knocking out DLH cold, either trolling or you just got into boxing in the last year.

You made out he was superman against Manny, did you think we all forget lol , and even though Oscar was more passed it and 20lbs lighter, lol .

You are full of sht when it comes to Mayweather you should stay out of his threads because your flip flopping double standards are all over the place .
