He wanted Fury and Fury's promoter said no... he called out klitz once he won the title but had hand problems then Klitz lost and Joshua is building. Now he's having a tuneup after an injury.....

AJ had a belt dude.. By fighting Ruiz and AJ, Parker had a shot at the belt.. Well how much did he make against Ruiz then? Because with AJ he could have had 75-25 and still made ~2mil

It's ok to call it as it is.. a low risk high reward with Ruiz than AJ.. It was a smart business move and if I were Duco that's what I'd have done for my fighter as well...

AJ in discussions with Klit when this WBO belt became vacant so what was Parker meant to do? Just wait around until possibly 2017 OR go for a fight immediately. Parker fought Takam to become the IBF mandatory he pursued that route. Fury crammed stuff up his nose which completely changed everything. Now Parker can potentially get a bigger split. Why wait around for a fight that may not happen

If you know anything about IBF and their mandatory situation, they would jump on the gun for mandatory(Glazkov vs Martin) and they had a timeline till Jan to have the fight.. So when Joshua vs Wlad was in discussion WBO was vacant and Parker chose to fight for it instead of IBF.. Not too hard to apply the logic there is it

Here's some logic fight Joshua in 2017 with no belt for a smaller split. Or fight Joshua in 2017 for a unification and even more money! Seems pretty simple to me and everyone willing to use the squishy thing between the ears.

It's bidness and everybody seem to be doing it these days.. As I said, smart move by Duco.. So we both agree Parker's team moved towards WBO than to stay and fight AJ for IBF..

A fight that was never guaranteed to happen. Absolutely Parker grabbed a belt instead of waiting around

The deadline for the mandatory fight was still 6 months away - there was no way Parker's camp could force the right with AJ then. Hearn said they were close to signing the fight, but once Klitchko became available, they backed out to chase that fight. Hence Parker going a different route instead of having no fight.

Bottom line, Parker had no leverage to force the fight. The IBF liking to give mandos shots means absolutely nothing, the deadline dictates when fights will happen, and Parker v AJ wasn't happening unless AJ signed.

Maybe you should get your ***** together before you go all condescending on people.

Wilder needs to fight this guy before Joshua fights Ortiz. Joshua is building a massive resume while Wilder is falling behind.
