Does anyone else notice that Parker throws arm punches and doesn't turn over his punches? Its all slaps and they come from the ground up. Joshua and Wilder spark him out right over the top of those low swinging punches

Bottom line, Parker had no leverage to force the fight. The IBF liking to give mandos shots means absolutely nothing, the deadline dictates when fights will happen, and Parker v AJ wasn't happening unless AJ signed.

Maybe you should get your ***** together before you go all condescending on people.

oh well.. was it your alt I was talking to?? you should get your facts right boy.. The deadline to make the fight was in Jan'17 & Klitschko fight on came on table late September & was de-shelved by mid october.. Parker was in talks with Ruiz the moment WBO belt became available..

Neither Parker nor Joshua's team wanted the fight. High risk low reward for Joshua, and Parker's team have plenty of time on their side.

        It's disappointing.

I like Parker's attitude but I think either of Joshua or Wilder would put a beating on him.

I thought he lost the Ruiz fight.

September to January 9th is 4.5 months, so I'll rescind the 6. However the point still stands - Parker could not force Joshua to fight him when these negotiations were going on, the deadline was too far away.

Not sure why you're surprised there were background talks going on, that's the point of having a management team. When Hearn inevitably changes tact, you've gotta have a backup plan, and that's exactly what Parker's team had to lean on when Hearn decided he wants Klitchko instead.

Nonetheless, I'm glad AJ is finally going to fight someone with a pulse. He needs some kind of decent win to be legitimate.
