Pirog and Golovkin have similar stalking styles which derailed Jacobs in the Pirog fight. That was 6 years ago and hopefully he's learned something by now. Jacobs will try to come out early flailing at Golovkin as he did in the Quinlin fight. He might get lucky but if not he won't hold up under Golovkin's pressure and power.

but pirog wasnt beating dj up. iirc, dj was winning. i dont see dj going out there trying to repeat a quillin. hes going to watch tape. see what others did wrong and not do that.

at least thats what im hoping.

What if it's GGG that gets hit flush?

Jacobs brings his punches straight back.
GGG drops his punches THEN he brings them up.

He also pulls back with his hands down.

WW Kell Brook split his guard with ease because GGG never learned to cover-up properly..

He's been having things his way for so long, that his game is riddled with lapses and holes.
Golovkin's holes can be exposed but it will take a far more formidable opponent than Jacobs to beat him in my humble opinion. Danny isn't Mayweather in there in terms of defence, he is going to taste the full force of Golovkin's power at some stage and I don't think he'll recover from that.

You keep mentioning Quillin as if he wasn't stunned by Rosado and dropped by Andy Lee, Golovkin's got a really good chin by the looks of it.

Nothing against Danny, I'll be rooting for him to pull it off but it's difficult to imagine. If he does pull it off then you will have earned the right to rule this forum and piss on us mere mortals that doubted Danny but if he gets knocked out I hope you give Golovkin his just due and don't turn around degrading Danny cause that will make you look bad and you'll get sig'd by just about every GGG fan on here.

And Jacobs got out to sleep by Pirog and dropped by pillow-fisted Mora!! Hilarious!

Oh I get it...being a prospect at 23 makes ur punch and chin weaker....that explains getting ktfo by Pirog!

I think the Mora fight made him smarter.

                  A prospect is a prospect.

At least he didn't hide in the amateurs forever like Gigi

A "prospect"? Jacobs was a pro for almost 3 yrs and had 19 fights to Pirogs 16. And Jacobs had an extensive amateur career - prospect..that excuse don't fly!!! Lol. Nice try
