Son, if you think GGG is going to fight a hard hitting MW as he fought a WW, then you should turn to tenis.

So GGG lets guys that can't hurt him land...that's dumb.

He gets his because he lacks defense.

Stevens and Lil Davey are 5'6...Jacobs is much taller...stronger and faster.

Lemiuex was like the same height as GGG.

Jacobs being 6'1" is not a crazy physical attribute like Wlad against other Heavies from 2005-2015, in which he ruled a HW division where he towered over all the good heavies by a wide margin. In Jacobs vs GGG we're talking about a couple of inches. Jacobs actual best physical attribute is actually his reach, which is a more important advantage than height. 73" vs 70" for GGG. But if Jacobs goes in there and doesn't jab, then reach is pretty much not an advantage then.

Maybe, but history is littered with examples that go against that. When Rigo was rocked and lost his senses twice in a fight against Merroquin, a ton of people said "Wait till you see what Donaire does to him". Well, that never happened. And opposite to that, there was a middleweight Doug DeWitt who took bombs from very heavy hitters and never stopped but was knocked out with one punch against a guy not known as a big puncher. There is no sequential/parallel reasoning to boxing; it has no proven formula. Besides, anyone can get caught and Jacobs is fast and hits very hard and anything can happen. GGG is the favorite but should not be by 8-1 in my opinion.

Jacobs is fast and powerfull but i dont think he can handle GGGs power. GGG is not just a murderous puncher, hes also more skilled than Jacobs and Jacobs is one of the best middleweights. I think GGG stops Jacobs in 3-4 rounds. GGG is that good.

If Golovkin were that skilled he wouldn't drop his punches to his waist and pull back with his hands down.

Letting guys that CAN hurt him land...now THAT would be dumb.

Walking through punches that don't hurt to unload his own shots means he gets to KO them earlier rather than later.

He'll do the same with Jacobs if he's not feeling power from him, else the guard goes up and he'll be more strategic like with Lemieux.

If he's feeling Jacobs' shots and goes more strategic, then its more a boxing match, who can get their shots in and hurt the other guy first.

So are we just gonna act like the only reason he ko'd quillin was because he struggled to make weight? Hell like a week before the fight they interviewed him in a basketball game and he said "im not gonna lie, making weight has been pretty hard" then when he loses he moves up to 168.

Defense is not something you can turn on and off like a light switch.

NOBODY lets themselves get hit...GGG gets hit because he lacks the reflexes and awareness to avoid punches.
