Chocolatito should not demand a high purse just because he is P4P top fighter. It should be based on how many fans would want to see him fight which is translated as the gross income for a planned fight. Can he generate pay per views if he is not co-featured with GGG?

Offer him a half mil take it or leave it. The small fighters don't get paid as much as the other fighters. That's just the way it is in the sport. Deal with it, or go bag groceries at the supermarket. See how that works out. I'm not impressed with his last 2 fights anyway. He's hit a wall it looks like. And I'm all for a fighter being paid well. He's just whining way too much at this point.

What does "small guys just don't get paid as much" have to do with anything? It's proving the point that he's paid unfairly. Pay a guy according to what he brings in revenue wise. Like it has been mentioned, Gonzalez has reeled in more viewers than Lomachenko vs Martinez and Walters who fought the PPV attraction Donaire, more than Jacobs v Quillin in NY, double what Lara does every fight. How can you pay those guys 1-2 mil, but it's too much to ask to pay this guy something in the upper half of six-figures? because he's a little guy he doesn't deserve respect or fair treatment?

You don't get paid based on skill. Loma can headline his own show and has a large growing following. Gonzalez doesn't.

But his headlined show sold more tickets than Loma's and he got better ratings....

Suliman kind of went in on him there I'm glad he won't get his belt stripped off him though if it doesn't happen.
I do think Gonzalez is entitled to ask for more cash but I can see where the Suliman is coming from.

Gonzalez is being advised incorrectly, just as the likes of Gamboa and Rigo have been. He can squander it all if he wants and he won't get any sympathy.
