Ward vs Kovalev is'nt a robebry by any stretch of the imagination.

Did'nt see the McDonnel fight, so no clue.

But robbery of the year is clearly Strum getting the decision over Chudinov. Thats the worst ****ing scoring I've seen in a fight, from all three judges, in a very long time. That **** was down right criminal imo.
you have to have a pretty wild imagination to have ward winning. low blows and holding and hitting become body work even though rules say they are illegal. kov landing more doesn't matter....because something....kov landing the heavier punches doesnt matter because....something else subjective....etc...

Hooker-Perez was a clear as day robbery

Ward-Kovalev was not an especially favorable decision

I can't see how Ward could have won after watching the fight several times trying to find rounds to give Ward to somehow come up with the scores the judges have. To me that's a robbery even if it wasn't what is considered a 'wide' robbery.

round 10 was prob one kov's best rounds yet they all gave it to ward. if round 10 was in the first half of the fight they all give it to kovalev without a doubt but because they knew ward was close to a win if they gave him all the remaining rounds even though he clearly lost 10. they let their bias guide their scorecard. thats garbage.
I agree with that easily being a Kovalev round but not sure if it was just judge incompetence or if they 'wanted Ward to win'. I just don't know. The only thing I do know is that Kovalev was the real winner, even though I picked Ward to win the fight before hand.

Kov/Ward because it was the highest profile match.

The Hooker win was really bad but on an unassuming under card.

Kov v Ward was main event and possibly for LHW superiority and they went and pulled a dirty trick like that. Horrendous.

This really should be a multiple-choice(if it exists), theyre basically all equally horrid. while the Kovalev-Ward fight was the closest rounds wise, you can make an argument for it due to its importance. Otherwise, that Hooker-Perez decision was absolutely horrific. McDonell and Browne fights were pretty bad too. Sadly, par for the course, promoters simply defending their "goods".

Yes, it was the most significant fight for the sport of boxing.
