And as a matter of fact, you dont even need cable to have HBO.

      Unless something has changed.
Does HBO Now come with live boxing though? I remember looking into it some time ago and seeing that it does not come with live boxing events. :-|

I don't even know. I just got all the movie channels (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, etc etc) with my satellite service. Lol

But all those channels are subscription based, no doubt about it.

This dude should be shunned from the sport for that. Opportunity of a lifetime for boxing, thrown away.
green k sent. think thats the best way to describe it, a wasted opportunity for boxing. Could have been big time boxing on mainstream tv again, instead its been a circus.

Nope it's the one limitation of HBO GO/HBO Now they do not provide a live stream only on demand access to their content. That kills live sports. If you want live HBO stream without buying it from traditonal cable/satelite provider your best best is SlingTV, DirectTVNow, PlaystationVue which are for cord cutters. No clue why HBO doesn't just offer their own live stream and cut out the middle man.

HBO comes with my cable. But Showtime is a whole different package. Is it different with certain cable companies? I have to pay extra and I get Showtime.

Sometimes cable companies have deals where you will get such and such channel "for free" but after 6 months if you don't cancel they start charging ya for it.

It's crazy that Showtime are where they were at 5 years ago numbers wise, after Floyd and all the money they've splashed elsewhere too.

HBO's numbers aren't great either. But they're not as terrible as I thought they'd be given the decline in their budget.
