Hatton is still as good as we think he is...and Yes Collazo is going to do very well.

Hatton went up against a fighter he admitted would be tricky because he is a southpaw..Hatton was correct.

Hatton just needs to adjust his body to welterweight..people forget he went up against a very good young fighter...a southpaw...A world champion....Had his first Major fight in the usa...(Rememeber what happened to lacy in england..it could have happened to hatton)

you point is? watch the fight again. collazo was holding too because he knew he had too. collazo knew that hatton wad going to try to get inside and throw uppercuts and **** at his body so collazo would hold on the inside. they held eachother equally and effectively from both strategies last night. dont give me that as an excuse to be a hater. clinching is a part of the game and if you think you will ever see a fighter that doesnt use it your deluded.

dont get me wrong i still think hatton is one of the best welterweights, but i no longer believe he will be the one to finally stop PBF, but who knows.

If Mayweather and Hitman got into the ring last nite...Mayweather would have killed him.

Give Hatton a few more big fights and he will be able to give PBF a good fight.

What people forget is that Hatton has only had 3 major fights, and dey have all happened in the space of a year.

Maywheather has had top opposition since he started pro.

Give Hatton 2 more big fights..he will be ready (hopefully )

Hatton is too easy to hit to have any chance of beating Floyd Mayweather

I've only seen Hatton fight twice, once against Kostya Tszyu and now against Luis Collazo. There's so much buzz around this guy due to his toughness, his crazy pressure-fighting style, and his demolition of Tszyu that I've often wondered if he would be someone who could actually defeat that little superman known as Floyd Mayweather.

After watching the Collazo fight, however, I think that Hatton has no chance of beating someone who punches as amazingly quickly and accurately as does Floyd Mayweather. Hatton is simply too damn easy to hit, and a puncher like Floyd would take him apart and almost certainly TKO him in the late rounds. Straight in, head-up, hands fairly low - Hatton has a reckless attack-posture, and Floyd would hit him again and again as he came in, making him pay hugely for any damage he did once he finally made it inside. There is no way that Hatton could win against Mayweather unless he does some serious work on these defensive flaws.

PBF would make Hatton look like Calzaghe made Lacy Look maybe worse because Hatton does not have the power threat at 147 as much as Lacy had against Calzaghe.

So if he goes into the ring..apart from PBF..who would beat Hatton.

Cotto has not faced anyone as good as Hatton..and has not had a fight in Welterweight yet...The odds are still evans.

Zab, Margarito, JLC would give hima run, OF COURSE PBF, DEIGO OR CASTILLO, a fight with Cotto would be intresting, Collazo, The winner of Gatti/Blad would be a competitive fight Shambra Mitchell his southpaw, and there are maybe a few other noth worth mentioning
