Im saying his not the fighter we think he is and will easily be beaten (TKOed or KOed) by any of AMERICAS top marquee Light Welterweights or Welterweights if he steps in the ring with them! This includes PBF, Margarito, Cotto and Judah! there are other guys out there such as COLLAZO, JLC, JUAN LAZCANO and even DIEGO CORRELAS OR CASTILLO who would give him trouble! There are reports that Hatton has said he wants to fight only 6 more fights and call it QUITS(say at 32-33), why do you think that is, because deep down inside he sees something that ive seen(a select few) and thats, either a deteration in skills or he KNOWS that his not the fighter that WE THE PEOPLE think he is! Just let it play out in his next 3-4 figts and you can tell me i was RIGHT then!

I think Super Judah would kill him, I dont see how Hatton could handle the straight left./

Not sure if anybody mentioned this, but didn't Collazo beat Jose Antonio Rivera, who now hold a title at 154

Yeah, but Collazo landed the cleaner punches. The key to beating Hatton is to beat him to the punch plain and simple.

agree, like I said before, Kostya was able to land the hook in those later rounds as Ricky was coming in, so if Floyd fights him I expect to see Floyd throw combinations to Ricky's head and body as he comes in, starting with a left hook..after he throws combination, shuffle back or to the side, gaining yourself some distance, then starting over again...Ricky is an inside fighter, that's it, though you do have to look out for the leaping left hook.

I have to give Collazo his respect where it is due. I knew it was going to be a tough fight for Hatton, but Collazo showed he had some true class in the ring.

Hatton has a long way to go before gettin his bigger fights and winnin them. Right now i could still see him beating Gatti and corrales, but would find it hard against cotto and castillo..and if it was Mayweather he was fightin last nite...pure retirement for Hatton.

As a boxing fan....it was a great fight to watch.

As a Hatton fan, i have my concerns, however this was still a great win for him.

Cotto could hurt him with his left hook, or any of his hooks, not to hard when somebody like Ricky doesn't hold his hands up or move his head...the advantage for Ricky is that he has a better chin than Cotto.

Gatti, good fight, but not sure what Gatti has left

Chico: if this guy would actually fight "Tall", use his jab, he would be a much better fighter...Ricky's advantage is that leaping left hook, and that brutal body attack, which I think would be a good weapon against Chico's small waist-line.
Ricky just has to be aware of Chico's power.

Mayweather: Floyd is still not a true 147lb fighter, so for strength, I don't think Ricky is going to feel it like he did fighting Collazo. The one problem is that Floyd can move, hit in combinations, has speed, good power, etc.
Still not sure how well Floyd takes a body shot since it doesn't seem anybody can get a clean shot on his body that much.

For the other guys at 147:

Oscar, despite not being the same fighter, Ricky should avoid...it would be a great fight for money and get his name known, but it wouldn't be good if he gets caught by Oscar's left hook...even though Oscar has fought at lower weights, it looks like he has really grown into his weight-class.

Same kind of goes for Shane, not the same fighter, but he is still fast and strong...if Ricky thought Collazo was strong, he is in for a surprise vs Shane.

Ricky's advantage is that he has youth on his side, and older fighters tend to lose their endurance, not to mention reflexes and the rest of their attributes.

this fight revealed two main things:

                      1. Hatton may not be as good as we originally thought.
                      2. Collazo is a great fighter and will now start to have a force and reason for existence in the welterweight division.
