I don't even think Jacobs is #2 , GGG and Canelo are the only guys who are special on that division.

Edit: Make no mistake, I'm not gonna contradict myself I really wanted to get this fight done because this will be GGG's biggest name on his resume and he'll get rid of those 2 WBA belts. but I knew this fight would be a mismatch. Only 1 belt left, hope they can pay good Billy Hoe so we got another undisputed champion.
GGG's opponents are just as bad or worse than DJ's.

Considering he's taken so much longer than he should have, I expect him to be no less than 300% ready.

Danny's faced the better comp for sure. Though he lost to Pirog, it still means he's been in the ring with someone that's 2 levels above anyone Golovkin has fought.

Given that GGG only fights bums i guess if the KOs Jacobs then Jacobs must be a bum or perhaps he's raised his game. I'm not sure which. Help me out here.

True. I've just seen lots of talk about Jacobs opposition ,since this fight was signed, as a reason why GGG will win and I think that's a hypocritical argument.

                    it means......

                    1) that Jacobs is much better than recent Golovkin opponents
                    a) that record reflects poorly on Gennady.....
                    b) but, props to him for taking this unnecessary fight

                    2) if Golovkin KO's Jacobs, it means that he is starting to prove himself against better opposition..... which is good, right?
