Does this mean that Team Jacobs has been seeking, ahem.. "advice" from Victor Conte?

jacobs trainer also trains stevens you gotta figure stevens will be giving jacobs some tips on ggg. Those are the same guys he spars with everyday in Brooklyn anyways.
Lol, I remember that guy on the Sherdog forum who was pretending to be Jacobs manager or something saying they were bringing in Chad Dawson, Charlo, and Lara to spar with Danny to get him ready for Golovkin.Comment

So he'll completely overtrain and then rebound back to 95%? Risky, but I have faith Danny can manage that.Comment

Jacobs lack of rounds over the past year might be a problem for him. He's gonna have to work all night to keep GGG off him.Comment

its hard to take a guy jacobs trainer that is seriously when he says he's going to curdle another man's milk.Comment

Yeah Curtis used to train and spar with those guys, but he left the gym a few years ago. He moved out to Cali and started training under Shane Mosely, then left there to train under JDJ. I don't think Curtis is on all that good of terms with Danny anymore. This past summer Stevens said he'd take a fight with Jacobs if offered, and he also picked GGG to stop Jacobs, saying Danny didn't have the chin to survive Golovkin.
Curtis Stevens will root for Daniel Jacobs to upset Gennady Golovkin if the hard-hitting middleweights meet later this year or sometime in 2017. Stevens and Jacobs are Brooklyn natives who've known one another for years.
Their friendship aside, Stevens doesn't think Jacobs will be able to withstand Golovkin's vaunted power if they fight. As one of 36 men in the world who knows what it's like to get hit by Golovkin in a professional prize fight, Stevens believes that'll be too much for the talented, powerful Jacobs to withstand.
"Danny is an excellent boxer", Stevens told BoxingScene.com. "But we all know that his chin is not that great. He may slide around through 12 [rounds]; he may not. It all depends if he gets hit."
"I know Danny personally. We all know he's an excellent boxer. But we all know his chin is very suspect. If his chin wasn't suspect, I would say it would be a hell of a fight. But being that his chin is so suspect, I believe it'll be a matter of until Golovkin catches him."Comment
