Because some of us aren't in England, the same could be said for those who think that Hatton would walk through Gatti, not gonna happen. I'm not saying Hatton couldn't win, but Gatti's still just as big, just as strong, and hits at least just as hard as Ricky does. They both cut, and Ricky has no defense and no jab, so I don't get where Ricky is leagues above Gatti. We've seen that even though Gatti is no great stylist, he can brawl or box.
I haven't seen that from Hatton. I say it's a very even matchup that could go either way, alot of people just think Gatti looks worse because he's not trying to slug it out every time anymore.
You haven't seen Hatton brawl or box? man, have you not seen Ricky fight? Hatton is way above Gatti. I'm not saying it would be an easy fight but Ricky wouldn't lose it. Watch more of Hatton and i'm sure you'll agree with me..i've seen plenty of Gatti and Hatton is leagues ahead of him
Hatton by KO in the mid to late rounds. Hatton's bodywork is the key to this fight. Gatti is suseptible to body shots (see Mayweather and Ward fights). Hatton would wear him down and stop him.

I've seen some of his fights, though not close to all of them.
I think if memory serves, the fight against Ben Tackie was the one where he appeared to come closest to a boxing style of the fights that I've seen, but even in that fight he didn't really use a jab, and he still came in head first. Of the things that Hatton does, probably the most impressive IMO are his body attack, (he's a great body puncher) and his stamina which seems to be on the level of Kassim Ouma or Juan Diaz. But given both of their styles (the style that Gatti doesn't use much anymore) I can't see giving Hatton a clear cut edge when they're both very hittable fighters, and Hatton was badly stunned in the last round of his last fight against a fighter not known for his power. Maybe I'm missing something who knows...
I would still say Gatti hits harder than Hatton and is probably even a faster puncher
If they fought, expect Buddy to tell Gatti to stick and move, which is a great strategy since we know Hatton can be outboxed from the outside, especially since he has a small arm reach...this strategy will work for Arturo up until he breaks his hand again, then we will probably see him in a War again
Gatti is not A level though, he got his ass kicked in by Oscar...though Gatti wasn't prepared right {still in his party days}, I doubt it would of mattered

Yeah dude he lost to Oscar, but Oscar is a much larger fighter overall than Gatti or Hatton, Oscar had a reach advantage on Gatti bigtime I think even Gatti may have a reach advantage on Hatton lol
I don't think Gatti was ever a world beater but I don't think he's shot either. I think he would have an excellent chance against Hatton.
Ricks just should not fight southpaws period especially not at Welterweight but Ricky should be fighting people who moved up to, like Gatti and PBF or move back down for Cotto. Margarito and De la Hoya would probably stop him, Im a Hatton fan but that 12th round shocked the **** out of me, if
