Hopkinate, n. to take the interest out of something; "I was really looking forward to that, but it got Hopkinated."
Agreed, they along with loads of others on here embarrassingly were trying to make new rules up for scoring fights an all time new low agenda for some people on here this fight honestly wasn't close, BHop wasn't in it at any point.

Bhop work-rate was clearly non-existent and I can understand why at 51yo you just simply wont have the same tank you use to not unless you're on some serious juice but to Bhop credit he done a lot of clinching and running backwards, circling the ring constantly so maybe I'm wrong about his stamina maybe he just exerted his stamina in the wrong way.

But seriously 10-20 punches thrown in a round with maybe 5 landing when your opponent is throwing 40-50 maybe 60 and landing way more than your fave how can you score that for him bare in mind Smith was landing big loaded up shots.
I just think Bhop should have remained retired and not even had this fight it was pointless.

It wasn't pointless if you wanted to see the **** KTFO, that's for sure.

I did have Slop winning one, maybe two rounds tbh, but that's all.

Same I had it 6-1, rewatched it this morning and I most certainly did want to see him KOed mainly because all the smack talking and boring tactics he gets away with but I still feel like it was pointless lol but wont lie I sure did enjoy watching him get 'pushed' out the ring

The Hopster got ended, damn, but he's in denial.

Where the hell have you been at? Explain in a 2-3 page essay, 12 font size, double spaced. On my desk by tomorrow 9AM. No late assignments accepted unless proper documentation is provided. Failure to hand in the assigment will result in a zero.

It's like Hopkins said... they needed to make it a no contest.

Joe Smith was on the verge of losing, Hopkins was getting to him.

Hopkins's legs looked ****ed though, didn't they? Reminded me of a baby deer first learning to walk. Little tiny baby steps, and he looked soft in the body.

I reckon if he went back to jail he'd be the one dropping the soap this time.

I remember years ago a Scottish footballer got a few weeks in prison for headbutting another player in a game. You put Hopkins entire career before that judge and he'd be in his 70s before he got out again.

You are right. I forgot that they were complimenting Hopkins on his headbutting skills. If they don't like the guy then they call him a dirty fighter. If they like him dirty fighting becomes a wise veteran move. I am a big Hopkins fan and his ring accomplishments are amazing. I am not a fan of his dirty fighting and he can be a poor sport and a sore loser. He gave Smith zero credit for his win and falsely accused Smith of pushing him out of the ring. Some of the crowd wrongly and ******ly booed Smith for doing his job in an excellent and legal fashion.

The fight was very one sided and the official score cards were a bias joke. Hopkins should have retired after Kovalev beat him up for 12 one sided rounds. Hopkins could still fight some against Kovalev but he looked very weak against Smith. Hopkins should have given Smith full credit for his win and given Smith's career a helpful push. He said Smith pushed him out of the ring when he did not push him.
