They want credit for fighting the man in their division and getting paid $3 million to do so?

I know it's a dangerous sport but isn't this fight literally the point of prizefighting when all is said and done?

This is what happens when Top boxers are overpaid to fight mediocre ones (who conversely aren't getting well paid to fight a losing battle). That isn't right either.

I give every boxer all the credit in the world to step through the ropes but there are times like thisnwhen it doesn't sit right with me. Was team Jacobs that concerned about what Mora was getting or the fighters on his undercard? Doubtful. Ultimately it's self-serving stuff so to appeal for credit from fans is grating.
