No! It just cost us watching GGG beat on another Wade type BUM!!! Which is a WIN-WIN IMO... I would rather GGG fight 2 REAL fighters and blow his budget then fight 4 SHT MISMATCHES like usual.

Yeah they needlessly delayed the fight three months, and waited until GGG is 35 years old and slowing down.

But regardless of that, I give Jacobs credit for taking the fight. Not as much as if he took it two years ago, but he gets full credit for fighting 35 year old Golovkin, even if that's not as impressive as fighting 33 year old Golovkin.

The bigger story here is see how they were motivated to prove fans wrong? That's the whole reason fans need to pressure fighters to fight the best and not duck. Because the pressure will, rightfully, motivate any fighter that actually has some pride in their legacy.

That's how long it takes for K2 to decide what is better??? 4 SHT WADE fights or 2 REALLY GOOD fights!!! You mad PRO??? You ain't gonna see GGG fight 4 times this year now??? I know your SALTY because you don't get 4 episodes of BUMFIGHTS this year from GGG.

That's definitely lower than my expectation of what it would take for Jacobs to fight GGG. Think my number was $5M give or take a mill iirc. Looks like you don't gotta break the bank to get Haymon guys to fight good opponents despite that being the often promoted opinions of the dummies. Although even I was a dummy about this one cuz I didn't think $3M (assuming that is the correct figure) would get this fight signed.

No doubt. Pro boxers being scared to be involved in pro boxing is one of the dumbest things casually thrown around by guys who've probably never been in more than 3 fights in their life & who clearly don't understand the level of competition, confidence & drive it takes to get to the level of the guys we talk about all the time on a forum like this.
