classy guy with a kind personality but when he steps in the ring he's all business. unfortunately for him his style means a short fighting career and even he himself acknowledged this.

Hes a good person, but most americans belive it or not, dont like good people when it comes to boxing oddly enough. Americans love to hate, we love to hate fighters who talk ****, we also love fighters for that reason as well. Hatton doesnt have the personality to be big here for the sole reason, he doesnt do enough to make people really love him or really hate him. There are lots of fighters here in america to love, a foreign fighter who isnt a latino needs alot more to win fans or get people anticipating their fights.

People love mayweather because he has skill, style and a magnetic personality, he sells fights. They also hate him, he talks alot of ****, hes brash and arrogant, he sells fights. Its almost always the same with the most popular fighters in our era, people either love them, or love to hate them, and personally, i dont feel that aura with Hatton.

Judging by how my household reacted to the fight, most were waiting for Hatton to stop holding so much, and the excitement only came when Collazo really turned it on and started landing those flush punches, it seemed more like those in my house who had never seen him fight, wanted more to see him be knocked out than anything else.

Personally....I dont see his stay here in america lasting more than 2 years after what i saw tonight.

he knows that itll cause a short career so he says he'll change it up when he turns 30. I think if anyone can completely change their style, hatton can.

ANd im a huge fan of hattons and i live in New York. Hattons a great and exciting fighter. He just misjudged the new weightclass. But he STILL won and once he gets used to it, fights Gatti and wins, i see GREAT things in Hattons future.

I dont see why people say he "misjudged" his new weightclass, he got stuck, over and over again, against a guy who wasnt gonna lay down in the face of a hometown crowd. He didint misjudge anything, he got hit alot as usual, only this time, it was against someone who could actually divise a strategy to beat him.

This fight had no impact on me. Having seen a couple of other Hatton fights, as well as seeing his demeanor from other interviews I didn't learn anything new. It makes me think that he should fight smaller Welterweights... that's about it.

Edit: This fight did have an impact upon me... I'm definitely looking forward to the next chance I can see Collazo fight.

I like him but i see him as being in the same class as a young Gatti. He seems to be a good guy which is always needed in boxing. This fight may have just been a bad showing or a problem with the weight . Over all he's a good fighter at this point, if he can beat or even have good fights with DLH,PBF ect then he can become great...all i can say is keep it up and good luck Hat

i really like hatton, he's a classy guy, and he's very exciting to watch, but last night's decision was terrible, there is no way hatton won that fight.

I totally agree, no way he won the fight, too much holding and getting hit. Very similar fight to Freitas vs. Raheem and we all no the holder did not win that fight, the boxer did.

I'm a Mayweather fan but I liked a lot of thing's about Hatton, he's one of the first people to give credit to Collazo instead of saying what he didn't do or making excuses. He even said I knew he would be tough and he thought he could give anybody a good fight at welter. I admire that because when you lose or don't perform to your standards it's easy to make excuses and disrespect your opponent. He also said that he knew he needed to get better and said he would. I'm not so sure that he won't have problems with some of the elite's at welter, but as far as personality I think he's a good guy.
