Just in pure power its gonna be wilder. But in the ring where it matters, Frazier would land the harder punches due to superior timing, accuracy and ability to catch opponents with the shot they dont see.

His left hook came from low down where you couldnt see the trajectory and he threw it in patterns where it was 'off rhythm' and often came at you in between your own punches.

Frazier is so underrated on here its ridiculous.

Brilliant boxer. Amazingly, considering his style, he was a great counterpuncher. Often allowing his opponent to initiate the action, slipping or catching their shots and then timing them with his own

Wilder still has so much to prove. If we are facing facts, Stiverne was dissapointing in their fight. Obviously he wanted to fight Povetkin in Russia so its not his fault. But still.

Which modern elite fighters are slower (who are the same size as him)?

Let's not forget that Frazier defeated a prime Ali.

No he didnt, what are you talking about. Frazier never fought a prime Ali. He was lucky that Ali had only just come back from his exile and was still very rusty. The world never got to see prime Ali.

If you cant believe it what was the thread purpose ?

Did you not read my post and ignore logic ?

No real realist who puts aside nostalgia is going to think Frazier wins this if they actually took a few hrs out of their life and watched some fights from both .

Ali didnt have punching power to keep Frazier off him or the short crisp winding angles Wilder used ,he had limited options with slapping flurries just straight forward that he needed space to do when Frazier pressed him . Total different fight all together . And Wilder can punch in clinches open his own space with fast hooks/uppercuts ,Ali just grabbed you and let his opponents punch away to his body . And getting hit zaps away stamina , power shots from Wilder is going to drain you fast ,based on how Frazier has handled power punchers hes not going past 5 rnds in this one ,cant see it ,when hes just there to be hit . Go watch just the 1st round vs 200 pound Jimmy Ellis first fight and count how many clean shots to Fraziers head lands now replace a similar style with a power puncher and think how that turns out if Wilder is in there.

I dont know where this elusive counterpuncher came from but the reality is was a come forward predictable fighter with predictable movements who out worked everybody by out muscling them on the inside with continued body to head combos , thats simply not working here because one hes going to get hammered walking in head first and two if he does crowd Wilder ,hes now fighting a guy whos going to be comfortable hitting in tight spaces and wont just stand there ,Wilder will twist and turn unloading huge bombs to create hisown way off the ropes if need be .

Stylistically Frazier walking to Ali was like getting hit with heavy pillows ,with Wilder it would feel like bricks , and we seen what bricks did in the Foreman fight ,now you got guy 4 inches taller than Foreman hes going to try and land a predictable hook on?

Frazier would never be a "heavyweight" nowadays. Compare him to fighters his own size (chubby LHWs, small cruisers) and he is painfully slow and flat footed.

I will concede that at 5'11" he was very marginally (very marginally) faster and more athletic than say, 6'8" Mariusz Wach. And that's arguable.
Lmao.....Frazier would move like a prime Ali if he fought most of the lumbering trees today.
