Hatton Vs Mayweather

Some great points have been made!As much as it pains me to say, Going on the last nights fight Ricky could not beat Mayweather if it was hes next fight. He needs to find a way of cutting the ring off, And to learn to slip a few punchies might help to. The thing I guess that is troubling me"A Hatton Fan" Is I can't see the answer for Hatton to beat Mayweather... I would want Hatton to win but I just can't see it, at this point. As I said before it would never be an easy fight either way.

i wasnt impressed by Hatton yesterday, he barely won the fight for someone who is hyped up as much as he is. Mayweather would school him in the art of boxing, the thing about Mayweather is he has perfect timing, He can come in, throw a bunch of punches, and be out of range before Hatton has a target.I gotta say that they both look kind of small for welterweight.

I'm a big Ricky Hatton fan, I've met him on a couple of occasions and last night was the first Hatton fight I've not been to for about three years (I can't get a visa to enter the US). As much as it really pains me to say it - he needs to stay away from PBF. Before last night I thought he would beat Floyd, but now I have to agree with most of the yanks on here. He's got no ****ing chance. PBF would run rings around him, and Hatton's only chance really would be to get lucky with a punch. If it happens I will still bet on Hatton and I will support him to the end, but he looked awful last night and IMO lost the fight.

Thank you. I also was pulling for Hatton last night, and gave the fight to Collazo. I don't know what the judges were thinking, but what good is aggression if it isn't effective? Collazo was landing more of the significant flush punches much much more consistently and that's why I gave him the fight. I thought he did well enough to have the fight won by at least a round on all the scorecards.

Jesus! Didn't you see how he performed against Collazo? In fact it came out right from his mouth. Ricky said that he needs to grow up in this division first because he is not comfortable yet.

Those people who we're saying that Hatton can simply put continues pressure on PBF is under estimating PBFs hand and footspeed. PBF is a very sleek fighter and the opponent never knows if he is attacking, counter punching, making a lateral or simply moving away. And the sad thing is, PBF can punch while moving forward or backwards.

a good challenge would be versus cotto.......gatti would be entertaining but gatti is too shot for any big challenge now.......

so against cotto would be very interestin as i'm also sure the $ guys would like to see a more firm ref....if hatton can't hug and clinch then he is dead in the water and imagine how this would suit cotto!..

PFB would dominate Hatton from what I saw last night. I like Ricky's swarming style but I dont think it would be effective against the upper echelon fighters. His power was not very emprisive ethier Callazo looked like he landed the bigger shots in that fight. I belive him when he says he has to grow into the weight and i think he will get stronger as time progesses but I think he is over rated from what is saw last night against callazo. How do you think he would do against DHL?

PBF would win, I think that people forget how smart PBF is and when collazo stuck to boxing he landed clearly and was winning rounds. Hatton had his moments when he pressured Collazo but I think PBF would stick to the boxing gameplan the whole time,and he's faster then collazo in hand and foot speed.Basicly Hatton would show heart but not be able to get to mayweather enough to win a fight with PBF in my opinion!
