Mairis Briedis to fight Marco Huck for WBC interim title

The World Boxing Council sanctioned a fight between Mairis Briedis (21-0, 18 KOs) and Marco Huck (40-3-1, 27 KOs) for WBC interim cruiserweight world title. The fight between Mairis Briedis and Marco Huck will likely to be held either on March 18 or April 1 in Germany.

Since Bellew has avoided the talented Briedis to fight a mediocre journeyman like BJ Flores, it's nice to see Mairis have a chance of winning at least an interim title (plus Huck's IBO belt).
