At 154 he's proven more then both those 2 guys combined and anyone else at that weight. When is Charlo going to stop hiding behind his trainer and fight Lara?

And if GGG really was pushing for the Canelo fight he would agreed to drop some lbs like he said he would for Floyd and Manny. Instead he demanded a fighter who hasn't fought higher then 155 move up to 160 for the first time and fight him at his own weight. Him refusing to budge on weight killed the fight in 2016. And now that weight is settled he is pricing himself out a potential fight in 2017. This is prize fighting and the A side calls the shots. Chavez likely to get the fight because he's willing to concede weight and fight for HALF the amount GGG turned down. GGG could learn a thing or 2 about making big fights and taking risks.
Nothing but the truth here, real words.

Big jumps aren't always good because your body hasn't get used to it, I'm pretty sure he could come up as high as 161 so when he fights GGG he's conditioned to give the 160's without a single problem.
There's no reason for him to come in at 160. He jumps from 155 to 170+ in a day. Instead of jumping in the sauna and depriving himself of any liquids he can just have a regular day.

The only reason to come in at 159 is so they can say "See, we told you he wasn't a MW".

This is the biggest fight in boxing at the moment even though all the ggg fans will not agree. I believe it is bigger than Canelo vs ggg and specially on cinco de mayo weekend or Mexican Independence Day weekend. Should be a fun fight to watch and I don't see Chavez "killing" himself to make 165 if he has been out the game for 18 months more or less and made 167.8 or whatever it was. He has less then 3 more pounds and I believe he can make it safely.

Abel Sanchez, trainer for WBC, WBA, IBF, IBO middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (36-0, 33KOs), is salivating at the thought of matching his boxer agai

There it is my friend, GGG's taem said Chavez would be his dream fight, lol, now how you defend that?

Of course he'd have to cut 3 pounds, you expecting a guy who has never fought above 155 to move up and fight a durable and steel chined guy @168?

WTH you talking about, when has GGG moved up or down just 1 POUND to achieve greatness.

Canelo started as a 140 per boxrec, so u know what time it is.

nope, cant be arsed to dig my comment out but i was critisising it on another thread. Said i'd be ****ed off if ggg fought him. Doubt canelo comes in much ehavier against chavez than normal, wont bulk up, then he'll go back and fight cotto. chavez will be a walking corpse at 165

If this turns out to be true it is bs and canelo's legacy is a joke. Going up 2 165? But not 160 for GGG? He is full of ****. It is all about the money not the fans or the sport or the competition.

Have you ever been into strict weight control? u know huge jumps **** u up? he's gonna fight GGG on September so the better he aclimates pre-trainining for weigh-in the better he will aclimate to fight GGG next.

155 to 170+? **** that, Trout, Angulo, Kirkland, Charlo, Martisoryan even Lara have made the fight day unofficial weigh-ins @170+,

Bradley a welter, has said he has blowed up all the ay up to 180+.

Everybody does it, some people do it more, some less, there's nothing new in to that.
