It still remains the same fighting Chavez Jr right now isn't a worthy fight If he remained in shape most of the year then fine one tune-up fight probably would be enough but we're talking about the fitness of him more than anything If he can remain fit at 165lbs then maybe it could be a good fight but he likely won't be capable of that.

    • Chavez has been on everyone's hit-list for a while, but it isn't surprising that Canelo would be the one to get him. Canelo has been able to fight anyone of his choosing because he's a $$ maker and nobody is gonna avoid him. Chavez is going to get thrashed and I can't wait to watch it. GGG would've done Chavez dirtier, but Canelo is going to light him the **** up with combinations. With the extra weight, Canelo shouldn't be gassing either.

Or like GGG saying he will fight Chavez at 168 but not Ward. GGG for 5 years said he's ready for 154 or 168 but killed the 2 biggest fights possible because he refused to go to either weight for Canelo and Ward.

GGG phuked himself by refusing to come down in weight for Canelo, refusing to make any weight concessions.
Why should GGG come down in weight to fight Canelo? This is what's ****ing up the sport. Canelo is 100% capable of making 160 comfortably, heck, I'd say his body will feel a lot better at 160 than 155. The belt is at 160! Not 155 or 157, 160!

Canelo and Oscar's reason was always that Canelo wasn't a MW and now he's looking to fight at 165 lol keep defending him tho.

If he fights Golovkin in September then I don't really mind this tbh. He could even squeeze in a third fight and at that point who cares if one of them was a sideshow
My guess is Canelo will step in THE weigh-in at 160 or 159.something.

Big jumps aren't always good because your body hasn't get used to it, I'm pretty sure he could come up as high as 161 so when he fights GGG he's conditioned to give the 160's without a single problem.

A weight drained, washed up Chavez jnr would be easy work for both GGG and Canelo.
Even thou the guy could go up to the 190's? Not really sure about that, Fonfara knocked him down but he didn't knocked him out, dude has a hell of a chin and is durable as hell, not saying he's a monster but he definitely ain't a walk in the park for anyone below168.

I don't think neither Canleo or GGG stops him but maybe the weight drain really puts him into zombie mode, not high on the fight but it doesn't botter me at all, let's see what happens.

Not believing it, I said insiders from mexico are saying that, about 2 weeks ago I said on this forum that Don Eduardo Lamazon said Chavez and Canelo were negotiationg a fight and everybody said I was crazy.

Now Lamazon iand other people are saying it's 5 million, so should I believe them when everything they said up to this point has been true? I think I do.

Really impressive stuff. Why didnt he have a rematch with Lara (you know the guy many thought he lost to?) why did he say he was too small for Middleweight but has no problem fighting a washed up fighter above the middleweight limit? He went down to LMW and fought the easiest possible champion in Smith. The Charlo brother, Andrade and Lara consistently call him out and...Nothing.

You want to mention GGG, he hasnt taken enough risks. But he pushed for the Canelo fight hard, put himself as a mandatory but Canelo wanted a catch-weight, and then handed his belt to GGG after GGG demanded.

All this ducking and he's still only 26 lol. We both know Canelo is waiting for GGG to get old because he doesn't want to take the risk now.
Just to let you remember, that Dontae's boxing nation interviewed GGG for a possible Brook fight and GGG replied "He's too small"

Let's don't contradict ourselves pls, both Canelo and GGG have put their feet on their mouths, both have contradicted themselves a lot of times and both are businessman.

Sure, don't matter when your mandatorie is a bum who can't even go to the gym to trian.

I'd rather take a guy who is an acceptable contender not ranked no.1 than a mandatory nobody
