Put Charlo in there with Chavez Jr. @165 and let's see who wins that fight, lol.
What nonsense is this? I said Canelo was averse to taking risks, I didnt say he couldnt beat the Charlo brothers you have completely jumped the gun once again.

A weight drained, washed up Chavez jnr would be easy work for both GGG and Canelo.

If he fights Golovkin in September then I don't really mind this tbh. He could even squeeze in a third fight and at that point who cares if one of them was a sideshow
Just because the contract says 165 don't mean that's what Canelo will weigh in at. Look no further then Floyd and Manny who fought tons of catchweights to face bigger men but rarely if ever actually came in at that weight. My guess is Canelo comes is around 160 or less regardless of the contract weight.

Now whether Chavez actually makes weight or doesn't pull out if he's so far over weight is a legit risk to kill the fight. He has a history of pulling out fights and missing weight and if either happens I doubt Canelo will allow the fight to go on. Nothing with Chavez would shock me.

Has moved up or down in weight when? Has taken on what risks? Yet it's Canelo who is averse to taking risks? lord you funny LMAO
Yeah a guy who is naturally a Middleweight fighting opponents he has a clear size advantage on or making people boil down to Canelo weight to give him an advantage. Really impressive stuff. Why didnt he have a rematch with Lara (you know the guy many thought he lost to?) why did he say he was too small for Middleweight but has no problem fighting a washed up fighter above the middleweight limit? He went down to LMW and fought the easiest possible champion in Smith. The Charlo brother, Andrade and Lara consistently call him out and...Nothing.

You want to mention GGG, he hasnt taken enough risks. But he pushed for the Canelo fight hard, put himself as a mandatory but Canelo wanted a catch-weight, and then handed his belt to GGG after GGG demanded.

All this ducking and he's still only 26 lol. We both know Canelo is waiting for GGG to get old because he doesn't want to take the risk now.

At least GGG fights his mandatories instead of dropping his belt

Naturally a middleweight yet he had no problem making 154 his last fight? And he ALREADY fought and beat Lara not Canelo's fought he ran like a girl and now wants ANOTHER shot. LMAO And you talking about Charlo and Andrade who should be fighting each other and the rest of the top fighters to earn a shot with Canelo. At 154 he's proven more then both those 2 guys combined and anyone else at that weight. When is Charlo going to stop hiding behind his trainer and fight Lara?

And if GGG really was pushing for the Canelo fight he would agreed to drop some lbs like he said he would for Floyd and Manny. Instead he demanded a fighter who hasn't fought higher then 155 move up to 160 for the first time and fight him at his own weight. Him refusing to budge on weight killed the fight in 2016. And now that weight is settled he is pricing himself out a potential fight in 2017. This is prize fighting and the A side calls the shots. Chavez likely to get the fight because he's willing to concede weight and fight for HALF the amount GGG turned down. GGG could learn a thing or 2 about making big fights and taking risks.
