    .........
Dude loves protecting his investments. That's why you see recycled fights in his stables. The Mayweather-Pacquiao fight should have happen in 2012, but at least we get Pacquiao vs. Marquez IV.

After all that **** that was fed to the media, Broner's price was $4m plus a reasonable piece of the PPV upside?

Why folks continue to let Arum feed bull****, and the public actually running with it, is beyond me.

Roach said after the Postol fight that he didn't like a fight against Crawford straight away, but that after Pac had a tune-up, he would consider it.

Now that Pac's had thattune-up, he's now saying he likes it, and he likes it at 140 where he believes Pac will be faster and stronger.

So I don't see any hurdles in the Pac camp, and can't imagine Crawford won't be up for it, plus should be enough money to go around that everyone's happy - so can't see why it won't happen.
Roach also said he would rather a CW fight with Canelo over a fight with Crawford. We know Roach has no say so at all. It's all up to Arum, and when I hear Arum I hear Lomachenko and Jeff Horn!

Now, if Bud agrees to fight Manny at WW and Team Pacquiao come up with other excuses, then YES, Team Pac is ducking.

I think Bud fights at JWW at least a few more times before moving up to WW. It all depends on how difficult it will be for Bud to make 140 in the future.

Bud>>>Broner, but if AB comes in motivated and his team gets him in really good shape, this could be an upset in the making.
I hope he doesn't duck him, but time will tell!

I wasn't saying they should fight. I was using it as an example I have heard being put forward instead of addressing the elephant in the room, a Pac-Crawford fight.

People were giving Broner hell for asking for a 4 million garauntee, where his personality would be bringing Pac numbers he hasn't see (outside of Mayweather) in years? Bob tried to stiff the guy. If I'm Broner is Pac or bust. he has the Burns option on the table

I disagree with that mentality. Everyone who steps in the ring has something to prove. If you have nothing else to prove, then retire. Don't waste everyone's time if you're not gearing yourself towards fighting the best out there. I don't care about his purse or fame or any of that. I want the best fights out there. Pac is one of the best out there, even if he is past his prime. Crawford is also one of the best out there. Make it happen. Unless Pac is unifying, Crawford is the best option.

We shall see! I see people really believe Crawford won't fight Pac @ 147. I guess they also believe Pac won't go to 140 for Lomachenko. What I read says Pac will go to 140 for Loma, but not Crawford! That if Loma says he'll go to 140, Team Pacquiao will welcome the fight!

                      October 27, 2016:

Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach is completely on board with Bob Arum's idea for 2017 - to make a dream fight between Manny Pacquiao (58-6-2, 38KOs) vs. Vasyl Lomachenko (6-1, 4KOs).

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Arum - who promotes both fighters under the Top Rank banner - believes that match can be done at a catch-weight between lightweight and junior welterweight. Arum believes Pacquiao could get down as low as the lightweight limit of 135 if he wanted to...

Roach agrees that Pacquiao can make the lightweight limit, but he would rather have that fight take place at the junior welterweight.

Lomachenko is already a two-division world champion in only seven pro fights. The two-time Olympic gold medal winner is regarded by a lot of experts as the greatest amateur fighter in the history of the game.

Roach is not that impressed with Lomachenko. He credits him with being a good, smart fighter - but he believes the Ukrainian talent might be getting a little overhyped.

"Yeah, [Pacquiao] can make 135, but I would rather him fight [Lomachenko] at 140. The thing is, Lomachenko.... I haven't really thought about that fight because the weights are too far apart I thought. I would love that fight. I would pat Bob on the back for that fight. I would yes to that fight. I don't think [Lomachenko] is that good. He's a good fighter, yes. I've seen him look terrible in fights when he first came over here," Roach said.

Why is 140 OK for Lomachenko, but 140 is not good for Terence Crawford?
