I fought with nothing but my willpower.
This says it all right here and tells me if there is a rematch, Kovalev would get stopped. Hey Serghey, it was the body shots that made you feel like your tires were deflated. Pure body shots.

Immediately after the fight, I said I thought Ward swept rounds 5-12. Kovalev pretty much confirmed it here.

"Failure's a chance to start again with more information." T Edison

If Kovalev really sees his loss as a wake up call and a time to reevaluate what he's been doing, than that's a good thing.
As far as saying all American trainers are zeros, that's a bit harsh (it's only about 90%) lol.
Training methods are only good if a fighter is willing to give them a try (Ariza had some good ideas and how many times was he fired? lol)
Maybe Russian trainers utilize more scientific techniques than the Yanks bit it's hard to generalize.

Yea I finally found the interview. The interview is really really good. It starts at the 45 min mark. But the part about the police and Sergey starts at 1hr 24mins 26 seconds

Huh? Kovy being an adult and saying he could've done better and wants to better next time out. Ward - on the other hand - swears he won 100% and he didn't. It was a close fight and most had it for Kovalev.

Kovy is the adult here especially with Ward's recent interview saying he might retire and not rematch
