Yea, I get ya. I wasn't defending GGG in any way. I was simply just stating a fact about Canelo as opposed to Tyson. Canelo is a great, great boxer, and he's only getting better. GGG is great, too. It'll be a fun fight if/when it happens. I'm just tired of all of the promoters not pitting the best guys against each other even after they're ready. These guys would all fight each other if were up to them (the fighter). Have to think about life after boxing, though, I suppose.

Difference is those pretty much were part of his Amateur career... Let's see GGG had what about 380 fights under his belt and MULTIPLE Gold medals while Canelo had like 80???

20 year old sparring a WELL renowned Amateur legend. 5 years in as a PRO and in his PRIME at 27 years old...

only way ggg wins is by ko/tko and that's a tall order, if ggg doesn't get the stoppage i think Canelo boxes circles arround ggg and Canelo would be closer to getting the stoppage then ggg would be, if and its a big if, Canelo can take ggg power.

I agree, Canelo has a better skill-set, and has shown much more against much better opposition.

He is ready for the toughest of fights, whereas Golovkin sounds like he is looking to cash out

I do to. He hits hard, has a good chin ,and has a beautiful body to uppercut combo. Plus GGG can't be learning anything new from just beating on punching bags or guys with skills but zero power for guys moving two weight classes up. It's the lil things that will probably be ggg undoing. The stuff bums don't train you for.
