Canela has a chance cuz he's very good at slipping and countering the jab! Not to mention his body work is quicker than Triple B's and he's also been working on fighting while on the move!

If Canela improved everything cuz he won't be drained at 160, could be a rude awakening and a bad cop out cash out for Team Son of Sanchez

He can knock Canelo down four times and it'd be the only four rounds they give to him.

My guess, Kovalev is helping his buddy out trying to get Canelo to man up.
canelo is not a mover, there will be no need for ring cutting that night..canelo is at his best in the pocket shooting off combos from all angles, and ggg will most likely play that game thinking he has the edge..but at close range canelo is more elusive and accurate..brook was hitting ggg with combos he just didn't have the strength to hold his ground so he was scrambling around the ring..canelo will be there in ggg's chest. .it'll be competitive but i give canelo a slight edge in a shootout.

GGG does not need to cut off the ring against Canelo.
Canelo got fast hands but he definitely doesn't have the slick footwork.

''We trained together. So I've seen the sparring between Golovkin and Alvarez. They were both very competitive. Neither one was inferior to the other.''

Wow! that was how many years ago?!! and GGG still hasn't done anything in the sport since but Nelo been getting better and stronger opposed to Golovkins career path...getting hurt losing his reflexes and rapidly aging so how can based off these previous encounters can this fight be 50-50? It seems that Kovalev statements are influenced by his tie to his fellow eastern-euro hype-job comrade.

Kovalev helping GGG to get that Canelo fight by insinuating Canelo is at par with GGG.
But Canelo knows better. He was the one who sparred and not Kovalev. He knows GGG is trouble for him.

Kovalev helping by saying Canelo fights better opponents than Golovkin does.
