The point is he talked about it before the Maidana fight and after. I also don't see him talking about it "more" than he ever has before. There is no evidence that one fight or opponent made him talk about it.

He doesn't need to find anymore, but as time goes by and people start to forget About him I won't be surprised if he has that itch again. He's a very insecure man, he needs attention.

Lol I might be asking the wrong person about this but the he keeps talking about health is as if he doesn't wanna go thru that again. But then again, there's no one at WW atm who can put him thru that type of fight.
mayweather has mentioned retirement and had brief retirements for yrs. He retired after the Hatton fight, he said after the cotto fight that the damage from that fight made him want to retire, and now he's retired again. I think the punishment of training camps over the yrs has been more grueling for him that any particular fight.

I'm not sure. He's talked about it during the time he was accusing Pac of using PEDs. I know that the thought came to mind several times during his career because of his brittle hands. And the fact that he fought Maidana twice, makes me think it wasn't Maidana alone, but he may of been a contributing factor.

The man is also 40 years old now lol. It's okay if he doesn't want to come back.

Floyd has an excellent resume and out of 49 fights only 2 were questionable and in both of those fights a case for him can be made, so saying he is undefeated is not unreasonable.

Thanks for the fun and good luck promoting/training Floyd.

He makes a good point. People dont realize how ****ed up people can get from boxing and he has been boxing his whole life. He is 49-0 and he beat some good fighters and made millions, no need to prove anything to anybody.

People think he is 24 years old, the guy is 40 and has been through all kinds of training camps, traveling, diets, etc. Just let him be.

I brought it up because he took shots in those 2 fights like we didnt see before. And he also had to work twice as hard in those fights.

Yeah, you may have a point there. I like Floyd, but he's past it. He'll be 40 in a couple months. Has not about to let anyone make a name off of him. His skills have diminished, whether he knows it or not.

                      why are we listing middleweights?
