Please do not compare any other programs just want to hear how some justify this crap match making. I wanted to see PBC do well, but when they keep shooting themselves in the foot like this how do they expect to see any dramatic improvement in ratings?? I can only imagine the week after when ratings come out, the usual response...well the #'s are pretty good considering we were up against NFL, NBA, NCAA Hoops, Rodeo, Bowling, Backgammon, Knitting,
Absolutely. It demeans everyone involved too. Including the broadcasters who're going to have to talk about Foreman going rounds with Cotto once upon a time.

But what really sucks is that this is only Lara's second fight in 12 months, and it's against someone of this little quality. You want to fight guys like Foreman and have people still respect you, then fight 8 times a year like they used to do back in the day. You offer the fans 2 fights every 18 months then shit like this isn't good enough.

I don't even mind these Haymon fighters fighting cab drivers, but at least have the decency to fight more than 2 fights a year.

Boxing seems to have become a charity for these kinds of fighters. It's sick.

Hopefully this is just a tune up fight before he faces somebody who is relevant!! I would like to see him fight Demetrius Andrade or Cotto.... I don't know what's up with the top boxers fighting soft competition these days, I blame the politics of boxing.

Erislandy Lara fought Carlos Molina Paul Williams Alfredo Angulo Austin Trout Saul Alvarez Ishe Smith Vanes Matirosyan he has a good resume Cotto should be fight Lara not Kirkland and Andrade is running from a fight with Lara what's left Tony Harrison Erikson Lubin Jarrett Hurd Willie Nelson Liam Smith some of them are not ready for Lara he should forget about unifying move to 160 after beating Foreman

                The best Foreman?

You can't be serious!! The best Foreman would struggle in a boxing match against Mcgregor!!

No reason why Foreman rejects this fight. He can always take a dive and cash in just like Walters, Ortiz, etc.

I like Yuri, but don't think he belongs in the ring with Lara. Mismatch.
