I like this guy. I like the way he thinks. Of course Hearn wouldn't do it.Higgins would love to have a doubleheader, where Parker faces Wilder as the co-feature attraction to next year's blockbuster between IBF champion Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko - set for April 29th in Wembley.
"Whether Eddie Hearn is willing to have two heavyweight title fights on the one card, we don't know," said Higgins. "We could have Wilder-Parker and Joshua-Klitschko on the same card and then the winner of each fight could fight off against each other."Comment

Two belts get unified on one side the other two get unified on the other side. It would be too good for boxing!Comment

I think a healthy Wilder blasts out Parker within 4-5 rounds. However, this won't be a healthy Wilder that he is fighting.Yea, Hughie is riding on his brother's name. I got nothing against the guy but he's fighting for world titles now?
I think Parker troubles Wilder for a little while but ultimately gets laid out. I don't see Hughie having anything to offer Deontay but, style-wise, he'd make an interesting fight with Parker because they have a few similarities.
Ultimately, Wilder v T Fury or Joshua would be mega. Seriously looking forward to that.
Remember last time Wilder had surgery on his hand, he came back and took like 9 rounds to KO Molina in a fight where he barely threw his right hand and used his left jab and left hook most of the fight. He threw the lowest amount of right hands he ever had in that fight and the highest amount of left hands.
He then took 11 rounds to dispose of Dehaupus, and only a month or two after that did he say his hand was 100 percent again. (According to him, it was 67 percent against Molina, and 90 percent against Dehaupus).
And now he not only broke his hand but tore his bicep too. If he comes back against Parker, I think he's still win for sure but Parker undoubtedly will have the best chance to beat Wilder if he fights straight off of those injuries. It's really a smart play for them to call him out now.
It's the same thing Povetkin tried to do, and then ducked twice after Wilder recovered over the two tune ups.Comment

Eddie Hearn wouldn't do it ... if the money to do it didn't make sense.
Before we forget, Matchroom Sport is trying to put 90,000 people into Wembley; Joshua-Klitschko is going to move a tom of tickets (likely getting a near sellout of the venue by fight night).
Joshua-Klitschko, Wilder-Parker, and Ortiz-Briggs (supported by the novice/pups of Matchroom fighting) sells out the venue well in advance of the fight date; the WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO heavyweight titles all contested on the same bill would be an utterly monster event.
Still, it comes down to money; would the North America TV rights (US/Mexico/Canada) be enough to get Wilder over? would the Australian/New Zealand TV rights to the fight be enough to get Parker over? etc.
If it's even remotely possible, don't put it past Hearn to check the numbers.Comment
