Comments Thread For: Parker's Promoter To Contact Haymon For Wilder Unification

The promoter for WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (22-0, 18KO) is planning to pursue a unification with WBC king Deontay Wilder (37-0, 36KOs) in the immediate future. Parker captured his title this past Saturday night in New Zealand, with a twelve round majority decision over previously undefeated Andy Ruiz. Wilder became champion in January 2015 with a domination of Bermane Stiverne. Since then he's retained the belt four times.

As a jaded boxing fan, I would be utterly stunned if this happened. It makes way too much sense to even be possible...

That ****** Hughie is popular these days! I'm thinking how the hell did he get ranked that high to face Parker? then about two weeks ago team Wilder was talking about giving him a shot...Oh yeah back on topic Hughie might even decision Parker and then unify with Deontay; crazy how this is all playing out then you take into account the other inbred Gypsy returning to face the winner of Juice-Klitschko.

Yea, Hughie is riding on his brother's name. I got nothing against the guy but he's fighting for world titles now?

I think Parker troubles Wilder for a little while but ultimately gets laid out. I don't see Hughie having anything to offer Deontay but, style-wise, he'd make an interesting fight with Parker because they have a few similarities.

Ultimately, Wilder v T Fury or Joshua would be mega. Seriously looking forward to that.

I would love for it to be Hughie just to see him get knocked out and we dont see him anymore.

Wilder won't go near Parker right now IMO.

It took a lot to get him to agree to fight povetkin and he still ended up finding a way out of it.

Wilder should try to make this fight ASAP, Parker would go down quickly I don't think he can take Wilder's power and if he did Wilder out boxes him like he did against Stiverne
