This, combined with his long lay of and crap opposition. I think Ward is one of the most frustrating boxers to follow. The guy does not give a lick about anybody but himself.

I'll be glad as he was not great for boxing at all.

Pathetic if he walks away from a rematch and I'll lose respect for him.

Man Ive really tried to give this guy the benefit of the doubt on everything. If he retires to avoid a Kovalev rematch fck him. He is a frustrating dude as a boxing fan.

be a ***** move, cause we all knew he would try this to duck the remtach.

Thats crazy when you rather retire and give up future paychecks for awhile (he will only retire for a bit he will come back) just to avoid a fight with someone. COWARD!

lol i told everyone the kovalev fight might be the last time people see ward in a ring and i got heavily abused for it, as i said at the time i wasnt trolling i was being serious. Funnily enough it looks like i might have been correct. Seemed pretty obvious too me his hearts not in boxing with his inactivity and weak opposition over the past few years, he had to take the kovalev fight in order to get interest for his previous fights.
