Yes he is, outweighed on fight night countless times, majority of 160 pounders are bigger/taller than him, even these guys at 154 like Jermall, Andrade, Lubin, are bigger than him, but weigh-bullying is a huge advantage that's hard to give away...

Gigi was going to fight Froch in the UK at 168, Froch talked **** then retired, Chavez Jr at 168, refused 10 millions, Chudinov at 168, "maybe in a few years", Rodriguez at 168, crickets...

Loeffler did go to the UK to talk with Degale, Degale said not now, he wants to unify first...

Should Gigi put a gun to their head or bully their families to get them in the ring?

      I see your point.

You'd think there would be several Canelo vs Charlo threads.

Another American star on the rise is the last thing most of these guys want.

The Charlos called out Golovkin AND Canelo last night.

Kinda cute that they called Saul "Cinnamon", using the English translation to imply he was "sweet"- and not in a Sugar Ray way either...

Those guys aren't fighting Middleweights....GGG is.

Golovkin is fighting at 160 against MWs
The guys you named are fighting 154lb fighters.

K2 isn't about taking chances with GGG...he's too easy to hit and is old...they have to be very careful matching him.

That's one of the favorite things Lil g's fanboys (not his true fans) say.

They talk about "real weight" as if that should mean something.

Hatton's real weight was 180. He wasn't a Light Heavy.

Tim Bradley and Brandon Rios are 165+ on fight night. They are not super middleweights nor are they likely to be anytime soon.

A guys weight is what he fights at, period.

It isn't just about about how much you weigh, but what opponent's weight you are used to.

If not, why have weigh-ins and weight classes at all?

Gabriel Rosado was making his debut at 160.

Nobuhiro Ishida had his 2nd fight at 160 against Gennady.

And, of course we had Brook.

The bad part, of course is that these are some of the better known names on his resume...
Care to revise that statement? Prior to fighting Golovkin, Milton Nunez had fought at MW at least twice. Not much info is available on Boxing for him, but he fought against Solar at 159, and Camargo at 160.

Kassim Ouma had fought 4 times at MW prior.

Rosado had fought at MW 12 times before facing Golovkin.

Ishida had fought at MW 13 times prior to meeting Golovkin.

                  It's simple....yet GGG/Ex Pact*rds still don't get it.

Me fighting at 147 against WW's....... is not the same as you fighting at 160 against MW's......just because I outweigh you in the ring.

You have more experience fighting bigger guys than me...despite my ring weight.

What's so hard to understand about that?

Listen, you want to count early fights before a new guy settled into a main weight class, fine.

What cannot be disputed is that Lil g made his name fighting guys who very recently had been fighting regularly at a lower weightclass.

                      That's the point.

With all the guys available in HIS OWN weightclass, he and his management regularly reach down and fight guys campaigning at LOWER ONES.

THEY JUST DID IT AGAIN WITH BROOK.

THEY WANT TO DO IT STILL WITH CANELO.

And now you have the Charlos, maybe.

                      Try statistic-ing that one away.
