A dozen times, though? Against guys weighing close to, or even more than, the MW limit? Espinal weighed 158. Guerrero was 157 3/4. Johnson 159 1/2. Yost was 158 1/2. Raynor was 160. Hicklin was 163. We can't just dismiss all these fights and say he was making his debut at 160.

From the looks of things, Rosado and Ishida have done a lot of moving up and down. I really don't care what the broadcast said, both fighters have fought in the MW division a dozen times or more. That's not a career JMW.I am not the only one saying it. Check the broadcast of Golovkin vs Rosado. They made the point of characterizing Gabriel as the one moving up. Same thing with Ishida.
He has a habit of looking south when there are guys in his own division and above he can fight.
And, it isn't about guys in his own division not wanting "that work" as much as it is Lil g and Loeffler negotiating in such a manner that "no" is almost a foregone conclusion.
Look at how fast they were signing to fight someone else prior to this year. Lil g would fight, afterwards in the ring they'd mention some big name (one you know it would take months to negotiate), then 2 weeks later they'd announce a fight with Curtis Stevens or willie Monroe.
Look at how they've been trying to nickel and dime Jacobs, THE BEST FIGHT THAT CAN BE MADE IN DIVISION RIGHT NOW. How does a fight everyone agrees should happen get to purse bid if you are an A-side that has assured us all you will do everything you can to make the big fight?
No, we have to stop acting like Lil g is not part of this.
As far as Jacobs, the WBA has said he deserves 25%. That's not Golovkin. That's the sanctioning body. We can't blame Golovkin for that. We can't blame Golovkin for Saunders wanting lottery money to fight. We can't blame Golovkin for Eubank losing his pen. We can't blame Golovkin for Johnson taking, what, 14 months off between fights. We can't blame Canelo for giving his belt away and starving himself to make 154.Comment

they can and will dismiss it. If something doesnt fit their agenda they will dismiss it. These people cant be reasoned with, got them saying that fighting between 154 and 160 isnt middleweight, bizarre and ridiculous.A dozen times, though? Against guys weighing close to, or even more than, the MW limit? Espinal weighed 158. Guerrero was 157 3/4. Johnson 159 1/2. Yost was 158 1/2. Raynor was 160. Hicklin was 163. We're they all CWs? Frankly, I think CWs are BS and should only be used to get fighters of different classes in the ring. There are only a few pounds between classes, especially at lower divisionsComment

A couple of those were at Caneloweight, so I guess that makes a difference too. And since Floyd did it, it makes it okComment

fighting at a cw as a prospect doesnt make them that weight class..
yea but theyre coming up, i guess just to give new guys some leeway as theyre still learningComment

GGG bludgeons charlo pretty easily I hope this fight happens charlo can no longer starve himself to make 154 and if he wants to be the man or get a belt at 160 he has to go through ggg.Comment

Charlo is a HUGE 154 fighter. People talk about Canelo but this kid is a giant compared to him. There has been talk of him moving up for over a year already, he's not having to eat himself to 160. GGG may be better suited because he's been fighting there a while but I bet numbers wise Charlo is not in any way " small" compared to GGG. Also, it gives us a decent fight to watch with GGG involved instead of another no hope guy.
