I love Andrade and I have respect for charlo now but I think charlo is going on to bigger things. I think he might actually chase that ggg fight. Jermall can't accomplish anything at 154 anymore but Andrade still have other options at 154.

He's the mandatory for jermell title he should get the wbc to enforce that. That be a great fight.

I'll believe he'll chase the GGG fight when I see it. But it's definitely becoming more possible now that GGG is about to turn 35. He is definitely slowing down.

How cool would it be if Jacobs pulled out of negotiations, and Haymon got Jermall to step in for him with the same terms the way Brook stood in for Eubank? The Jacobs fight is great but Jermall has never been chin checked, and he seems similarly athletic and powerful as Jacobs, so I think the Jermall fight would also be interesting. But do I think he wants to fight GGG? Hell no. He took forever just to agree to fight JRoc, which, this diva doesn't understand, is the whole reason people doubted him! He acted like he didn't want the fight from day one. Just because the mandatory got enforced and he didn't want to look like a ducker so he eventually took it when he saw that JRoc wouldn't step aside doesn't mean Charlo wanted the fight from the beginning the way JRoc did.

I still give JRoc the full credit for not taking step aside money, and for pushing hard for this fight and calling Jermall out. That's the only reason this fight happened in my opinion. So for Jermall to be angry that people doubted him is crazy because I think whether he admits it or not, I won't say he doubted himself, but HE is definitely the one who seemed to have doubt at least about whether he wanted to take that risk when he sees other Haymon fighters getting the gravy train for years without taking any risks. Fans can sense which fighter really wants the fight, and which fighter feels like they could do without giving the fans the fight they want to see. Jermall fell into the latter category this time so as usual, the fans had every right to doubt him in that regard, and he shouldn't blame the fans for that, he should try to understand why the fans felt that way, and look in the mirror.

But if he was reticent about the risk of fighting JRoc, I highly doubt he wants GGG.

Respect to Jermall he earned my respect in the ring but then turn around and quickly lose a little bit of it again with the "I'm Not A Matchmaker" then trying to pretend like he don't know who Andrade is when him and his Brother been asked by Andrade for the last 2 years

I would love to see that fight but Andrade with his Manager/Dad and his promoter are just a complete MESS right now. Heard his Dad interview with Tha Boxing Voice a few days ago and respects to him but his Dad doesn't have a ***ing clue what he is doing as his son's manager his dad THINKS that fights are just going to fall in his son's lap. But I just like he took the J Rock fight personal why not take the Andrade fight Personal and shut him up because Andrade has talked way more trash about the Charlo's than J Rock did

Charlos gotta fight Andrade. They got their shot, now if they really care about fighters, not just themselves, they gotta give Andrade his shot. The interview after this one is dope. Andrade got the best personality in boxing. I love it when fighters keep it real. So many fakes in this game.

Junior middleweight world titleholder Demetrius Andrade, unhappy with his purse and by a lack of communication with his promoters, has dropped out of a defense scheduled against Jermell Charlo on Dec. 13 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Although Charlo promoter Golden Boy Promotions and Showtime, which was going to televise the bout as the opener on a tripleheader, announced the fight on Oct. 31, Andrade-Charlo was never finalized and now it's off.


Also, he was due to fight Culcay for a title, but refused to sign the contract until it was too late.

Andrade talks a lot, but he is very rarely in the ring. And never in against an elite opponent. Jermall's last two fights were against Trout and Williams. He has proven he isn't scared to fight the best. Andrade continues to waste his talent and it is becoming quite pathetic really. If Andrade ever grew a pair he would be on the p4p list, but he appears to easy sure win fights and only one fight every year or two!
