I Like Jermall Better After the Postfight Insults

Not really selling themselves out, they get HATE for no reason even before this fight. Not saying act ****** like Broner but if people want to hate give them even more reasons to HATE :dunno

I don't think Jermall got that much hate before the fight. Some people picked Williams and some people picked Jermall; no one was really hating on him though.

Regarding last night, the crowd didn't turn on Jermall until after the handshake incident. Before that, they were cheering him for the KO.

There's no need for Jermall to lose his head because a couple people were booing him last night and go full heel. No need to do that.

I wouldn't even recommend someone like Ward to do that even though he's gotten consistent hate over the years and has a HOF/ATG resume.

Just like breadman said, let your actions and KO's speak for you in the ring. Everything else will play itself out.

J-Rock went over to Charlo's corner and Charlo told him to **** off and I don't want to talk to you. Pretty sure his brother was also saying it.

Then like after a minute of Shields calming Charlo down, Charlo went over to J-Rock and J-Rock wasn't having it at that point.

No Jermall Charlo was doubted by many coming into this fight and especially after the Trout fight. Yeah I don't agree with brushing him off after the fight though that was classless

The respectful, christian, family man Andre Ward is hated by the same people who hate the heathen, woman beating, arrogant Mayweather. Those same people will claim they only hate Floyd for what he does outside the ring which is the complete opposite of what Ward does outside the ring.

Oh, I know; trust me, I know, big dog.

But you should never compromise yourself to spite someone else.

If things are going to change for the future, small battles like this have to be won on a consistent bases. In other words, never compromise yourself and go full ****** just to please a bunch of people that will hate you regardless of what you do. Don't give them the satisfaction of you playing "the role" for their self pleasure.

I love what Andre Ward and Virgil Hunter do on a consistent bases. I love it. And if that means that Ward will only make 5 million for acting like that as oppose to Mayweather's hundreds of millions then so be it. Mayweather can't go anywhere by himself without 85 security guards with him either; there's a price to pay for the route he chose.

Regarding Ward, not only can he walk where he likes, but he can look in the mirror and respect himself as a man. And guess what else? The kid's see that aspect and that's what's most important. That's how change happens over time.

This was literally a 50/50 fight coming in. I don't think people were doubting or hating on Charlo, it's just some people thought Williams was the better prospect and others thought Charlo was the better prospect. That's pretty normal for up and coming prospects meeting at the cross roads.

Regarding Charlo brushing him off, that was an emotional mistake that he admitted fault too. They shook hands and made up after the fight.

What's next for Charlo? He should be himself, get KO's and let his knockouts speak for him and leave the extra stuff alone like he's been doing up to this point.

It's all a big mess really. You have guys who hate Mayweather because he's black as you're pointing out there, as they hate Ward for the same reason. You have other fans who love them because they are black. You have others who find their styles just boring which is where I come in. I don't hate or love either. I'm just indifferent. Jermall could prove to be fun to hate, but it won't be because of being boring in the ring. I'm liking his style. And KOs always produce fans no matter what. And come on. The Clubber Lang, bruising persona was pretty damn funny in Rocky III.
