There was 1 week to go before the purse bid when he vacated.
The document you posted the link to is the WBC rules as per 2009. I've explained to you before that the 55/45 split for champion vs interim champion no longer applies.

Here's a link to the WBC rules as they are now:

"2.17 Division of Proceeds in a Purse Offer. The net purse offer (after deduction of all sanction fees payable to the WBC hereunder) shall be divided as follows:

    (a) 70% for the champion and 30% for the challenger in title bouts;

    (b) 50% to each contender in the case of vacant titles or elimination bouts; provided, however, that the WBC Board of Governors, may by a majority vote, authorize a modification of the division of purse offer proceeds between boxers in a purse offer in unusual or special cases, such as consideration of outstanding marketing value of one of the boxers, as the WBC shall determine in its sole discretion. The modification of the split shall be limited to 60-40% and 55-45%, except in the most exceptional circumstances, in which the split may be modified to 50-50%."

GGG's split from a purse bid would have been 30%.

But there is no reason whatsoever to believe that Loeffler was trying to force a purse bid with GBP. Neither Canelo nor Oscar have ever given that as a reason for vacating, yet you and your buddies continually talk about it as if it was established fact.

I'm really not sure why Froch and Ward constantly feel the need to keep talking about Golovkin. Froch is retired and Ward is at 175 and considering retirement.

Golovkin didn't duck Froch or Ward. Froch and Ward didn't duck Golovkin. I think its time to move on from this crap already.

There was 1 week to go before the purse bid when he vacated.

that was well-documented at the time, and a number of journalists have commented on it since.....

"Alvarez and Golden Boy CEO Oscar De La Hoya faced a Tuesday deadline to make the mandatory fight or the WBC would hold a purse bid, an auction in which promotional rights to the fight would have gone to the highest bidder. The bid amount is split between the fighters, generally a 55-45 split in the case of a WBC title fight between a titleholder and interim titlist.

The sides still had many issues to address, and the fight was unlikely to be finalized by the purse bid, so Alvarez vacated the title but said he still very much wants to fight Golovkin.

"For the entirety of my career, I have taken the fights that no one wanted because I fear no man," Alvarez said. "Never has that been more true than today. I will fight GGG, and I will beat GGG, but I will not be forced into the ring by artificial deadlines.

"I am hopeful that by putting aside this ticking clock, the two teams can now negotiate this fight, and GGG and I can get in the ring as soon as possible and give the fans the fight they want to see.
        "

        http://www.espn.com/boxing/story/_/i...adline-looming

        and this was Loeffler's reply.....

"From their side, they made it clear when they told me they were going to vacate that it didn’t mean Canelo didn’t want the fight. They wanted to continue negotiations, but they didn’t want the time pressure for the purse bid, which was coming up quickly next week,” Loeffler said. “And I made it clear from our side that it didn’t make any sense for the WBC to give any type of extensions or exceptions, which they didn’t ask for.

“I respect the way they handled it this way as opposed to dragging out the process.
        "

Except I feel GGG should've faced Canelo at the catch weight, I mean he was willing to do it for Mayweather. Also Alvarez has sacrificed in the past to get big names in the ring with him not to mention being the A-side. So, not even close, goofball.

The number of times you've called Loeffler a lying snake who can't be trusted, and now you are quoting him to back up your point! That's so funny!

Why do you think Oscar didn't offer GGG $10million and 160lbs for a fight in Sept 2016, and get it made right then, when Canelo still had the WBC title that GGG wanted so badly, instead of spouting crap about 90/10 and 155?

Do you think he was scared that GGG might have accepted it?

                      I do.
