At any rate, this statement covers 2014, any attempt to get Froch out of retirement should have been at over 168 in my book. That makes it a bit more even given that if they fought in 2015 Froch would have been out the ring for well over a year.Comment

Plus, Canelo won that belt at a 150lbs catchweight against some Hatton bum, he had no right to complain about no catchweights, especially one that he himself offered.Comment

Loeffler was vocal about wanting Froch at 168 in late spring 2015. With Froch out of the ring for a year. IF they sent an offer or socialized a fight with Froch in 2014 when Froch was active, was it at 166? Possibly. We know that Froch asked for 171 and Loeffler flat out said no in an interview in the UK.Comment

Well for someone (GGG) who is supposedly so 'piss poor' Carl is doing a lot of chin wagging about him? Makes no sense all this air time Froch is giving him if he isn't worthy of the great one who kayoed Groves in front of.......... LOLComment

Except it was Canelo's team who offered the catchweight. They didn't even offer a 152lbs catchweight, they offered 150lbs. It was Floyd who said: "Nah you don't have to go that far, 152 is cool."

And the always classy Froch also ridicules Murray and Macklin in the process. No disrespect to those guys though.
Let's be honest, Froch's resume is good, not great. He acts like he has beaten Hall of Famers and Top 10 pound for pound fighters when in reality his best wins are Lucian Bute and a razor thin victory over a faded Kessler. Losing to Ward was understandable, but Kessler and Dirrell also proved to be better than him head to head.
The problem with Froch is that he's talking trash about a much better boxer than him in just about every department. You watch Froch and then watching Golovkin feels like you're watching fcuking Lomachenko. To put it simply, neither his boxing skills nor his resume are good enough to give him the right to shyt on a guy who's been knocking out everyone in the last eight years and barely loses rounds.Comment
