Fast and explosive by far but the best fast explosive punches are also heavy. There is no reason it has to be either or. The best punchers punch with speed and proper technique and turn their weight into the punch. Nobody hit any harder for their weight than Tyson and Hearns. Their punches were fast and very heavy with much body weight in them. The KO punches of Jackson and Foreman were heavy and fast. You are trying way to hard to have two types of punchers. All great punchers punch with good to great speed and turn much weight into the blow. If they didn't have both speed and weight in their punches then they wouldn't be great punchers.

Fast and explosive. It's the punches you don't see coming that hurt the most. It's one of the reasons why prime Tyson was so devastating.
